? For Ron on Old Board Threads ?

Ron, I am really glad that some of threads from the old message board are still available on the Wayback machine.

I do have a question, involving the numbering of the threads.

The first thread, after it was taken over by yourself(?) is numbered 01 on the Wayback machine, and is an introductory post, so I wuld assume
that was the very first thread.

And, the thread numberings up until the old board crashed in 2015, go as high as 22,000 + although the Wayback Machine only has about 2,300 threads

So, am I correct in assuming that each of these thread numbers is the number of a thread out of a total of 22,000 + threads on the old board?

Or, do these numbers have nothing to do with how many threads were started on the old board?

Ron, thanks for answering my question. I'll continue my surfing of the Way Back Machine under the assumption that the numbers on the URLs for the threads, are the sequential order within the total 22,000 + posts, in which a thread was started.

I often feel like things I do waste my time, but surfing the surviving posts from the old board is a very good use of my time.
