  • MY glans Dekeratinization with Glysolic Acid/Retinol

So I spent many years doing PE and made great gains, but my glans condition kept getting worse.
I have been doing manual tugging for years but have done tlc tugger steady for about 4 months and my glans kept getting worse.

The glans surface was rough, wrinkled, and had many small bumps that were almost PPP or something in between.

    here are things i tried.

    1. Keeping it covered. Didn't work
    2. Iodine painting, made skin stiff, irritated and no peeling.
    3. OTC 2% retinol cream. This slowly helped to soften the skin but didn't shrink PPP or raised bumps.

    4. 35% glycolic acid wipes
I am NOT saying this is safe for others but is what I did.
I wiped the pad only on the roughest part of glans, let sit for 3 minutes, then rinsed with warm water.

A day later the top most layer of skin began to peel. I kept it clean and moisturized and tried not to pick skin off did anyways as I was amazed that the bumps shrank by 60% and the skin softened up over the next week.

I Have only done 1 peel with glycolic acid wipes so far but will probably do them every other week or so.

They use glycolic acid on lips so I felt safer using it on the glans.

As of now my glans is soft and smooth enough that I am not embarrassed at. Women touching it or oral sex.

Since the peel the retinol cream and keeping covered also has a greater effect.

After the peel the glans was red for 1 week.
After retinol it burns a little.

There may be side effects or negative outcomes taking these measures but it's what I did.

When you retain, do you pee through the retainer?

Are you referring to Glycolic acid?

            glycolic acid, 35% wipes.

They also say to neutralize with baking soda water after 2 to 3 minutes.

I treated with glycolic acid again and although there was no peeling there was some smoothness, but that seem to fade after a few days.

After looking at many pics it seems some of us that havr keritinization also have bumps that sre raised but not quite PPP.

After reading some posts here I am also going to add Urea cream to see whay the results will be. An intact gland would naturally be inncobtact with a small amount of urea.

I do not believe that any acid treatment alone would restore the glans BUT using some stuff sparingly just may help.

I peed through my devices so that my glans could soak in it. It is a natural defoliant. Men since the caveman have been doing this and we still persist on earth. My dekeratinization took all of two weeks doing this.

I got some Eucerin roughness relief cream which is said to have around 10% urea, which is really low. It burned a little first couple times but now feels OK.

Ive also been able to use AHA glycolic acid wipes 2 or 3 times a week. It no longer causes redness ot peeling but still should cause cellular healing and a change on skin structure.

THE acids like AHA glycolic are said to create long lasting improvement in skin structure even when no peeling takes place.

My next protocol will be to use urine, but not let it soak, just lightly coat the glans.

Urine is something that someone who hasn't been circumcised is constantly bathing the glans and inner skin in. It is a natural thing for the glans and inner skin to be in constant contact with. The other things that you have been applying are pretty strong treatment of such sensitive skin. I would urge caution.

                      New protocol wo far.

glycolic acid 1 time per week still.

UREA cream, Eucerine rougness relief AND OTC retinol at same time.

Combining the retinol and urea at same time seems to have REALY softened things up and increased sensitivity a lot.

How often are you using the UREA cream, Eucerine rougness relief, and OTC retinol creams? Which brand of UREA cream are you using?

I quit using them for a while to do PPP treatment but started up again. I use them at morning and night.
for me it keeps the glans softer and more sensitive.

I had bought 40%urea with 2% salycic and use it a while also. The stronger cream burns a lot at first and will cause some peeling. I'll have to check what brand later.

Agree... IMHO totally unnecessary and dangerous to the skin. I've been reading this thread a long time and cringe a lot. The only thing that touches my dick is coconut 🥥 oil 🌴. My dekeratinization happened long ago and my glans look healthy and feel awesome against my brand spanking new foreskin. The other practice that I do that keeps everything in balance is I pee through my foreskin and all of my devices that have a hole or tube. If you do that, you will need to wash the device every time you remove it for the day including any hole or tube with an appropriately sized brush for the purpose. Urine is a natural exfoliant. Every time you pee, the stale urine that was in there removing dead skin cells [because of the exfoliant properties of urine] gets washed out and replaced with fresh urine. Then your biome will keep everything in balance similar to how your intestines operates. Of course, don't ignore any malady that you suspect in your new prepuce just like you wouldn't ignore visceral pain in your gut (a belly ache). Going on two years of this practice and no signs of a UTI.
