  • Feeling tension in shaft (at the base) not skin

I recently received my device and thank you for the very efficient service. I have managed to apply the TLC tugger tensioned with a strap and although it is not uncomfortable as such I was wondering where you should feel the tugging sensation.... For me it is in the base of my penis shaft and I guess this makes sense, but was expecting the feeling to be more on the skin are being pulled. I expect it's right as it is but just wanted to check if I'm doing it right please!

That is a common way of perceiving the novel application of tension, especially of downward tension. RULE 1: Never tolerate pain. Rule 2: The ideal amount of tension will sometimes get uncomfortable, signalling you to take a break, re-apply, or reduce tension.

Tension that's productive can feel so gentle on the skin that you might forget you're wearing it. See the 4-Hour Rule: http://tlctugger.com/4-hour-rule/ You'll know that your regimen is yielding results because you will have done a baseline Forced Erect Coverage http://tlctugger.com/forced-erect-coverage/ reading, and you'll log new observations monthly or quarterly.

Feeling the tug principally along the outside of the shaft down to the base of the penis is bad. This is not where you want the tension to be. You want the tension to be concentrated in your foreskin remnant.

I cannot speak directly about the TLC Tugger, I've never used it because I completed my restoration before it was invented. However, I did experiment with one of the cone-based tuggers of the early 2000s - the Tug Ahoy (I was principally a T-taper.) I think I can give advice based upon general principals of cone-based devices.

The Tug Ahoy had a air hole in the inner cone, and if the air hole became occluded, it resulted in an improper tug like you describe, along the outside of the shaft down to the base of the penis. From the photos of the TLC Tugger device posted to tlctugger.com, I think I see a similar air hole in the inner cone of the TLC Tugger. Make sure that the the air hole remains unblocked for a proper tug.

With any properly worn device, you should be able to feel tension on the inner skin down into the sulcus when you apply momentary high tension. Users of cone-based devices can direct more of the tension to the inner skin (versus the outer skin) by shoving the inner cone deeper into your tunnel of foreskin before clamping down with the outer cone when applying the device to your penis. (This, of course, means that you have to have enough slack skin to have a tunnel of foreskin to shove the inner cone into begin with.)

I declared myself finished restoring with 3/4 erect coverage (CI-8.5) in 2005. I primarily used T-tape, strapping up and around my waist.
I've participated in NORM meetings in San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle (RECAP), and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Every doubt, reservation, or concern I had about my restoration was resolved by achieving additional foreskin LENGTH.....So just KOT !

Reminds me of when I first started, or even now if I use too much tension.

When I first started the skin on my penis was fused to the shaft like that of your finger. Eventually this came "lose" and I thought I had seriously injured myself. Now I can move loose skin all the way from the base of the shaft over the head, and it's a very strange feeling compared to before.

Manual tugging method 2 might help you let the skin break free from the shaft if this is the same issue I was having.
Started CI-0 with no movable skin and 0% FEC

Currently at CI-4 with 64% FEC
