  • strange soreness and tingly sensation around scar only after orgasming

For almost as long as I can remember, I get a strange feeling in my penis around the circumcision scar that is difficult to describe but perhaps could be described as soreness with a slight tingly feeling. It is not a good sensation, I do not like it, but it is not terribly uncomfortable either.

This sensation that I get, is not as a result of rubbing or stretching the skin, it only occurs after I orgasm and then slowly goes away. If I orgasm twice in a row, the feeling will be even stronger. Other body parts get sore when they are bruised or when a muscle is over-used, however the feeling I get in my penis is not like this and seems to have nothing to do with how much rubbing I do on my penis, it only is in relation to the orgasm itself. If I orgasmed recently, then the feeling is there. I could rub my penis all day but if I don't orgasm I don't get the strange soreness feeling around the scar.

Has anybody else experienced this or have any information on it?

On this wikipedia page, under "Problems with the scar" it mentions:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision_scar -- "Amputation neuromas do not mediate normal sensation and are notorious for generating pain"

I wonder if this could be in relation to what I am feeling, however I do not know. I have very little information on it

Also, I have never heard of anyone else mentioning this sensation. Does anybody else have the same problem?

Well, after an orgasm, my whole glans and foreskin are too sensitive to be touched. that extreme sensitivity gradually fades over some minutes. You might find this interesting:

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

The feeling that I feel though is unpleasant and I wish it wasn't there. I'd like to know if i'm not the only one

      Are you intact?

No, I was circumcised at birth. I am covered much of the time now, but still a bit to go before I am finished. I would add that the feeling I have is unpleasant, so I am trying to say that your description sounds like me, as far as words can be used to describe it. Something to keep in mind is that we had our foreskin amputated. Besides the issues that are mentioned in that video, there is also the possibility that we could have the so called phantom pain as well:

The bottom line for me is that damage was done to us, in the case of many, when they were infants. Our mind and body have had a long time to deal with this trauma in different ways, and we do not always have good understanding of what may or may not be going on.
