Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this.

I went to restore today and take a pic for my progress gallery (which I haven't made a thread about, and which I started a while into restoring), when I noticed something amazing. On the side that's been tugged the most, the brown circ scar seems to have vanished or been tugged away. Also, my inner skin has formed a little pocket, which feels baby-soft. I'm so happy, and even happier that I can have more of this if I keep tugging.

Awesome! thanks for the positive feedback which encourages me to continue on. I'm less than 1 month but I swear the skin feels looser. keep it going man.

      Congratulations on your progress !

My account of the resorption of my circ scar can be found here:

I declared myself finished restoring with 3/4 erect coverage (CI-8.5) in 2005. I primarily used T-tape, strapping up and around my waist.
I've participated in NORM meetings in San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle (RECAP), and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Every doubt, reservation, or concern I had about my restoration was resolved by achieving additional foreskin LENGTH.....So just KOT !

I have a close-up pic of the skin being stretched, and it looks like there's no scar in one area, but otherwise I can see a dark ring (I think it's fainter than before). Is scar resoption due to stretching, or is it something that happens along with dekeratinkzation? The softness could have been from the way I was moving my finger across the skin, not an actual sensitivity increase.

Scar resorption is something that occurs when there is dekeratinization and the mucosal surface becomes naturally wet.

Mucosal surfaces heal without scarring. If you damage your gums, the damage always heals without scarring. If you have a tooth pulled, there is a lot of damage done to the mucosal surfaces, but in the end, it all heals over smoothly, without scarring, so your dentist can then fit you with a denture. When I was in my twenties, I had a an operation where a section of intestine was excised out, and the two loose ends of the intestine joined together. The surgeon told me that the inner mucosal surface (the lumenal side of the intestine) always heals so perfectly that pathologists cannot tell where the junction between the two ends of the intestine were put together.

Stretching (tensioning) is what induces tissue expansion by the addition of cells by cell division.

Wait, then why does circumcision leave a scar? Is the scar just on the outer skin?
And if so, how would the inner surface being wet (side note: is there a difference between "naturally wet" and wet from water or lube?) make the scar vanish?

Circumcision leaves a scar because a) the outer skin does scar, b) once the mucousa is exposed it dries out. Sloppy technique and whether you keloid plays a role too. The inner surface isn't really wet like your mouth, but moist and tacky. If you don't retract when you pee it will be, or if you leak some precut, but normally it's not like.sloppy wet. This does vary from individual to individual. When I was intact (sigh) I was not all that wet. Amount of coverage and tightness plays a huge role.

My inner skin is wrinkled, so I came up with some theories for the baby-soft feeling:
                1) the wrinkled-up skin dekeratinized, or
                2) that's just how inner skin feels after resting from tugging.
