  • Red spot on inner foreskin

Hello all, I have been restoring for a little over 2 yrs now and have gone from a CI 1 to a CI 3.5, "The Hump". It's a very slow stage to be in, but I know I am making progress. Anyways, a couple of months ago i noticed that I have developed a red, shiny spot just below the V in my glans on my inner skin right where my frenulum was connected. It doesn't itch or hurt and it hasn't gotten any bigger. I think this may be just dekeratinized tissue because when I am not wearing my device, this area is always covered by the inner skin bunching up there. Any one else have a similar thing happen during their restoration?

Yes I did see many different shades appear as my glans changed back to inner skin.

Yes. I think you have answered your own question. It is likely that the red shiny spot is an isolated area where dekeritinization has occurred.

QBMan describes, and presents a photo of, a sudden dekeratinization event in the October 1998 entry of his restoration journal.

I declared myself finished restoring with 3/4 erect coverage (CI-8.5) in 2005. I primarily used T-tape, strapping up and around my waist.
I've participated in NORM meetings in San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle (RECAP), and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Every doubt, reservation, or concern I had about my restoration was resolved by achieving additional foreskin LENGTH.....So just KOT !
