  • Is it necessary to stretch the inner skin in order to achieve complete growth?

So I'm deciding to restore my foreskin, and I recently found some beginner methods on this link here:

Foreskin restoration by manual tugging with method two 2, which is manual restoring by tugging the foreskin of the penis of a circumcised or intact man.

If you check it out, you can see that they have 2 ways of stretching. One for the area between the circumcision scar and the base of the shaft (which I've been doing), and the other involved stretching the inner foreskin area where your fingers are placed right under the glans.

I'm scared to do the method involving the inner skin, because I've also been trying to restore my skin's sensitivity there (as some of you may have seen my thread concerning that). So I was just wondering if it's really necessary to stretch the inner skin just below the glans in order to get complete growth of the foreskin, or can I just get away with stretching the skin in between the base of the shaft and my circumcision scar? I really want to keep my sensitivity as I restore my foreskin!

All advice and answers would really help! Thank you!

Also if you all have any good foreksin restoring exercises to refer me to, that would also be great! Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean by "foreskin restoring exercises"? We do not need to exercise to restore, though if your fingers get tired doing manual, I suppose any exercise that strengthens your hand/wrist area might help. If you mean alternative manual methods, there are many.

To be clear, we are not "stretching" or "exercising" our skin. We are growing it. the same way that body piercers make their openings larger, the same way that a pregnant women gets a larger belly, the same way doctors expand skin to repair injuries. By applying the right amount of tension we trigger our skin to grow more. Apply tension and the skin will grow.

Regarding your worry about applying tension to the inner skin, the skin between your scar and glans, you have nothing to worry about. You can injure either outer or inner if you apply too much tension, but you have to be pretty aggressive to do that. Many men grow inner skin, most perhaps, without any problem.

However, it is not "necessary". Many men want the scar hidden, so focus more on growing outer skin, so ultimately, they have outer on the outside and inside, with the scar hidden under the foreskin when flaccid and covered.

Others, myself included, focus on inner skin with the goal of having inner on the inside, and outer on the outside, with the scar at the leading edge of the opening, more or less. My scar has faded so much I can't really tell where it is exactly anymore. I do this because I think it will give me the closest replication of what my original equipment would have been for appearance, function, and feeling.

But I have not seen any credible evidence that it makes much difference either way. You should decide what you want to have ultimately, based on your feelings about those differences. Don't like the idea of the scar at the opening, focus more on outer. Like the idea of the inner being the inside, and not worried about the scar, focus on tensioning the inner and outer as needed, to achieve what you want.

    Regards

So it's more natural to have the inner skin covering the inside completely whilst leading to the edge of the opening? Maybe I will stretch the inside after all... Thanks for the reply!

Your welcome, glad I could help. Here is a link to foreskin anatomy, that may help your thinking as well:

          Hi Regen,

I see your concern regarding the inner skin when tugging manually in the way your are doing it now. My advice would be to focus on the outer skin for now, and once there is a decent amount of progress you'll be able to change to different methods that also tension the inner skin, such as http://www.restoringforeskin.org/pub...gging/method-4, or using any device if you'd consider that option as well. In terms of progress I guess you'll see good improvement when doing both inner and outer skin stretching ;-)
There’s no better feeling in the world than the warm embrace of your foreskin, so KOT!

Yes, concentrate on outer skin now and when you have grown a decent amount you can use a dual tension device to grow any inner skin you need. Your scar line and inner skin should be completely un-trapped by the device by then resulting in good growth. The bonus to doing it this way too is that your scar line being tensioned will fade away so its not even visible when you're done.

From restoring, I've grown a significant amount more inner foreskin, and either: a) it's increased in sensitivity, b) the larger amount of inner foreskin makes it feel more sensitive, or c) both. My goals include something similar to what greg_b describes, so I anticipate the overall feeling getting better as I grow more inner fs.

Tugging will expand the skin you're stretching, and the new skin will have the same characteristics of that which you're expanding. That includes innervation, but such subject matter would be better left to a dermatologist than yours truly. My simple anecdotal advice is that it works.
