  • I can't get enough tugging time in :(

Hello. I have a pretty significant issue. I can't get enough tugging time in. I have around 8 hours per day to do nothing, but if i have to take the DTR off for 30 minutes to a hour at a time, I'm not left with much tugging time. This leaves me very unmotivated and makes me feel like all I'm doing is bothering the skin then leaving it to go back to how it was with no growth whatsoever. Iv seen good results with just 3-4 hours of use per day, but that may just be it getting loosened Iv been getting small to sometimes large surges of depression because of it and well, the reason why this website exist.. Iv broken down afew times, sometimes infront of others. I would feel much better knowing i was doing something about it. If anyone can give me some advice i would be very grateful. Thank you..

I'm really new to restoring. I'm no expert by far, but I think 3 to 4 hours will eventually produce results. I'm wearing mine for about 5 1/2 hours a day and have had great results. I've read posts on other sites with guys using only manual tugging for 2 hours a day and they had great results. I think you should continue doing what you can and remember to be patient. Don't get discouraged when you feel there are no changes; those are just inpatient feelings. Things are changing slowly. This time next year with consistency, you'll have made significant gains. Best wishes to you...

Try to use a retainer in the non-tugging hours. That should keep your skin to go back to tight state.

Can you help give us an idea why you have to remove the device for a while? is it because of your activities, or due to discomfort?

If it's due to discomfort, What's causing it? If you're using too much tension, try a thinner rubber band on your DTR since the one's provided with it are pretty beefy. I have both the DTR and the TLC-X and i can tell you from experience... the DTR may be "one size fits all" but it's definitely not "one size is comfortable for all." While I do love the grip and stretch provided by my DTR, the retainer part of it is a little wider than i find comfortable. My TLC-X is far more comfortable since they're available in different sizes, and your measurements are necessary for ordering.

It's something to consider, especially if it's bothering you this much.
Started restoring Nov2015 with CI-3, Current device: TLC-X.

Discomfort. I use low tension, but after a hour or so a white line will form on the shaft, which is a lack of circulation. I contacted Chuck and he told me i should take a break every hour or two and that he does. So i think it may just be a downside to the device, for me atleast.

Maybe if i set the tension abit lower i can, i use a pretty decent amount, but would still say it's pretty low.

I've had the same issue and I'd get a white line on the glans.
I relegate my tugging time to about 30 minutes with the DTR in the morning, then I put on my retainer or o-ring for the day, then the DTR at night for 1-2 hours. Seems to be doing alright and making slight progress. I'm documenting the progress with photos, so I guess in a few months I'll see what happens.

I'm about to start using the DTR as an inflation device to really stretch that inner skin, too. I think this method may be safer for extended periods of time, since there's no actual contact points other than the grip

EDIT: I also use MSM cream, which seems to decrease the amount of time I need to break from stretching. That stuff works.

Have these lines ever caused nerve damage? I deal with small, to sometimes pretty decently bad paranoia and the line appearing at all freaks me out. I changed my routine and it hasn't appeared since, but I'm still worried about if it could have done damage.

I get a white line on my glans after about 3 to 4 hours with my TLC X. It's usually a little puffy (edema) but it goes away completely in 20 minutes or so. It's not painful and I haven't seen any nerve damage issues from it. If your DTR is uncomfortable, it's probably because it's too wide for you. Try the TLC X. it comes in several sizes and is much more compact. You can wear it under baggy pants with no problems.

My advice is once you take your device off (let's say after 30min-1hour) immediately begin doing manual tugging at high tension (without causing pain). Methods 2 and 3 are great and don't require you to have CI-4+ to get a good grip on the skin. Honestly I've switched entirely from devices to manual and my gains have NOT slowed down. If anything I'm progressing slightly faster than before. I used the TLC Tugger for my first 6 months, then the DTR for about 2 years, and from the start of last October to present I've done nothing but manual and I haven't looked back. BUT, if you still enjoy using devices for whatever reason, there's nothing wrong with that . Just throw in manual restoration in the "down time" you have. You mentioned you have lots of free time so this would be a perfect solution. After you're done tugging, make sure you retain the skin in some way. I use a "Manhood Restorer" (google this) because it's incredibly comfortable and as discrete as retainers come. Hope this helps

I bought aloe Vera gel and msm crystals separately online then mixed them myself. Cheaper than an MSM cream.
