  • Tugging after CI-3

Does it get easy to tug after CI-3?
For the users on here who are CI-4 and up, does tugging become easier?
More specifically, does applying the TLC or TLC-X become less time consuming?

I'm finding it hard to have a good application that lasts long without the device slowly coming off throughout a given time interval. I think I'm having a hard time because I'm a CI-3 and I'm constantly shifting in my seat and walking around. Also, my device seems to get stuck on a part of my jeans when I stand and that loosens the device as well.

    In my opinion and experience,
Questions 1,2,3: yes, because you'll have more practice.

Aren't you using perhaps too much tension? Is your skin and the device oil-free before application (wash both with tap water and dry them off).

    I don't think so, but I think there's a gripping issue here.

I've also experienced that issue. I guess the solution is to wear looser pants, or loose jeans, or try to sit down spreading your legs more so that your device is not squeezed between your legs.

    Good luck!
From Madrid, Spain. Restoring with T-Tape, Manual, TLC & TLC-X since Jan 2014. Started as a CI-2, currently between CI-4 and CI-5 depending on the day.

Thank you! When I was first trying to fulfill the requirements of the 4-hour rule, I did use too much tension. However, I always readjusted when I felt the slightest of discomfort. I do wash my device two to three times a day, depending on the grip and if gets a little too dirty.

I tried putting the device on a different way today, and it's actually been on for quite some time. There has been no slipping at all! I guess it takes advice, persistence, and practice to get it right, huh?

OK, here's the deal. Yes it does get easier to apply the device, BUT everything needs to be squeaky clean.......literally. Mostly so it won't slip. Secondly, a rubber grommet between the wire handle and the cone is essential for it not to slip. Also try pulling your skin up first and insert the tugger body into your foreskin and pre cold the retaining cone back on itself prior to installing it than lower it into place and flip the sides down quickly while removing you other hand.
