What should the penis look like after tugging (I use the DTR),

Should there be any redness? What should a penis typically look like after tugging?

I think there has to be some redness and irritation sometimes. I'm new to restoring as well and have been using taped canisters, a TLC tugger, and manual tugging. With manual tugging I dont get any irritation. But I definitely get irritation from the tape line using canisters, and I do get very temporary redness from the tugger. When I say temporary, I mean a little redness that disappates with a skin rolling massage. From what I've read here in the forum, you shouldn't tolerate any pain. Pain is something to take seriously. But irritation in the beginning seems fairly normal. I think with less slack you have more chance of experiencing irritation simply because you're pulling on tighter skin. Just my thoughts on that... There are plenty of guys here who have years of experience that hopefully will respond and give you better advice than myself. Best wishes

At higher tugging tensions I will have some redness and even some slight puffiness. This returns to normal in just a few minutes.

Yeah, I usually have some puffiness too, at the rollover point, after removing the device (TLC-X). Its appearance resembles blisters, and goes away in a couple of minutes. I don't experience redness, though, I guess my skin has become used to tugging everyday.

Yeah I get those.

I've seen the same results but it goes away after a few minutes. This can sometimes happen with to much tension.
