Would LOVE to go to this, but I live 2,500 miles away and will be in the middle of a 1,200 mile hike from Glacier to the Washington coast. If this actually happens and goes well, I certainly would love to be involved in the future - it sounds awesome!!! - Mr. Big Cat

While camping isn't for me I love the idea of a meetup. I hope this goes well and future non-camping events are planned so I can attend!

                          Evolving~

Wondering how Camp Tug went. Problems? Successes? Repeat at some time?

                          How many showed up?

Too bad I missed camp tug by just a week or so. I just started restoring again this week...but for serious this time. I’m determined to see my restoration through. I got Ron low’s TLC-X and really appreciate all the testimonies and encouragement that I’ve seen online. Would like to hear how camp tug went and any more upcoming meet ups.

                              Camp Tug 2019

Camp Tug was an official success! Altogether we had 7 men show up for camp. With quite a diverse group, ages from 20’s-50’s, gay, straight and bi and men across all stages of restoration from fully restored to just beginning. Our camp was located on a secluded hilltop in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains, which provided privacy for those who wanted to be all natural an wear their devices out in the open. Over the weekend we experienced gorgeous weather which some took advantage of by sunning nude during the day. Also our group was lucky enough to have several great chefs who provided some delicious pot luck dinners.

The Camp Tug concept was developed out of a need to connect with others on their restoring journey and learning from others experiences. Some of us had been keeping in contact through sites like restoringforeskin.org and https://mewe.com/join/restoring_bros and reddit.com. Considering this was all of our first time meeting in person I was supplies how quickly our groups camaraderie developed. I contribute this to the quality of men that we had show up and the supportive attitudes from everyone attending. Of course were all were a little shy at first but after a bit of liquid courage we all eventually brought out our our bags of devices and tools. It was a great icebreaker as we all curiously explored a variety of devises. It’s surprising how even a group of informed men all had their own myths, superstitions and techniques.

Outside of the educational experience of Camp Tug there also was time for men to bond. Wether it was a hike through the Pennsylvania wilderness, a trip to the near by lake to cool off or just some R&R. Saturday evening was especially great. Jake the creator of Restoring Bros lead a very cathartic group discussion around the camp fire. P ersonally I was impressed and inspired but all of those that attended, I look forward to doing it again in 2020.
