Why do i get growth most when I don't wear my device for a day?

It seems like i mostly if not only grow when i take a day off. But at one point i took two off in a row and nothing happened after the first day.

Is this real growth? Why does this happen? I'm not complaining, trust me. I just hope it's real growth and stays.

Tugging simply triggers the skin cells to divide. Then they have to go through a series of processes to divide. This takes some time, so a lag is reasonable to expect. In addition, it is quite difficult to accurately measure the small gains we may make in a day or weeks time. So measurement error and bias could be at play.
