  • Most Memorable People From The Old Forum

Who were the most memorable users from the old forum for you? It could be for good or bad reasons.

  • #2
The good: Freddy S would have to be #1 good guy. He started restoring later in life and he always said "I came into this world with a foreskin, and dammit, I'll leave it with one". He got his wish. Freddy died about 6 months before the old forum went down. RIP Freddy S.

The bad: Suicidal123 was in a bad way. Getting cut in his late teens really fucked him up in the head. Haven't heard hide nor hair of him. I hope he is in peace now, especially if he lived up to his namesake.

The ugly: Hands down, Trombone. This guy was such an ass. He would always rub his "superior intact maleness" in our faces. In hope he's gone for good.

I really liked Freddys. I miss him. He is the sort of guy that you would like to have been your father. Rest in peace.

I'm convinced Trombone was some loser who thought he could nettle people by being all smug about being intact (Which of course he never actually proved anyway. He could have been lying the whole time!)

I think there was one guy who got cut in his late teens and fully restored himself at some point. He mentioned that the new skin was actually very close to the original in feeling and function, and definitely seemed pretty happy about it. I don't remember his name though.

There was this other guy from South Africa that got totally screwed by his shitty girlfriend. She butchered her sons and he did nothing about it. I'm pretty sure he was a troll because he was so utterly pathetic.

Generally speaking, I liked anybody that wasn't overly negative and did nothing but complain or lament how they "could never get it back". I just don't think that kind of mentality is healthy.

I remember this one guy who made a post about how his penis was like a magical tool that could instantly seduce and pleasure any woman who glanced at it by itself because of his foreskin. I also remember this French guy with an Indian chief avatar who was always talking about killing himself. Then there was an intact guy who had a picture of Jesus as an avatar. Does anyone remember what their screen names were?

Does anyone remember me? It has been a while. This was years ago now. That guy with the "magic seductive foreskin" was really something

Mitchell7, thanks for reviving this thread. It's of special interest to me, since recently, I have been doing a jumbo project of checking out all of the posts still surviving from the old board, via the Way Back Machine.

And, all of the members mentioned above are quite conspicuous, and have a surprising number of posts still available to read.

Right off hand, I can't recall Mitchell7, tho.

Was that the same name you used on the old board?

One member who was very notable, that I didn't notice mentioned above was Red Wolf Bear, who wrote some of the most poignant and heartfelt posts, and I have come across a lot of those posts in my recent surfing of the old board.

Glad to have you with us on the new board, and I will be on the lookout for your posts as I continue to surf the remaining posts from the old board.

Trey47, I would say that 90% of the old board was wiped out in the crash, but the Wayback Machine has about 10% of it saved. I have, on this new board, posted links to the Way Back machine, in onother post here on the new board.

Here is the URL for the Way Back Machine:

                        https://web.archive.org/web/*/http:/...thread.php?t=*

Clicking on this link will take you to a list of URLs for 2,300 or so threads.

After a few seconds, a list of URLs will appear, and just click on a URL you might be interested in and see what you get.

There are filters fro arranging the list in different ways.

What I have recently done is made a list of the titles to go with the URLs of the threads, which I plan to post here, so the members can look over the list, and know what URLs of interest to them to click on.

There are some who I appreciated, for various reasons, and it would be a kind of remembrance just to list those who made the most posts (good, bad, or indifferent). They were, in a way, ongoing restoration history. This, in it's own way, allow the old forum to live on.
Reality, that is a good question that I am not sure about. With the Way Back Machine, I can get to the home page, and have tried to do some searches from that page, but so far I have not gotten the search function to work, although I do intend to explore that possibility further later on.

Also, I have tried logging in from the home page, and had no success.

If clicking on the "members" list from the home page is a lost function, then about all we can do, is just make lists of the different names of people who posted there.

                          I well remember Trombone.

As I continue to surf the Way Back Machine, I will report on what I find.

Did I mention Top Hat in any of my previous posts? I found him to be a member who wrote very poignant posts.

As Ron himself has noted, the posts to the Press Room are very significant. I think that enough important posts do remain for other people to appreciate, although I am doing this search of the old posts, first to educate myself.
