  • Some questions about foreskin restoration and the Dtr.

Hello, I'm trying to get afew questions answered that I'm abit concerned with.
    1. I'm 15 (nearly 16), am i able to use the Dtr? I can easily pay for one and my parents will let me buy it, iv talked to them about it. But is it safe for someone my age? Iv heard restoring is suppose to be quicker for people my age but iv never heard of anyone my age getting a device.

    2. How long should i wear it at a time starting out / in general?

    3. Is Ci-3 a good starting point..? I believe I'm Ci-3 according to the index and wanted to know if this was a good amount to start with.

    4. What is the process like for buying a Dtr? Do you have to give measurements? I think at one point i heard someone talking about need ro give there girth for the device to be custom sized. Is that the Dtr or something completely different?

    5. How do you go about cleaning the Dtr?

    6. Any general tips for keeping myself safe throughout this? Iv heard about creams, but is it really useful / necessary..?

I apologize if this forum is abit inappropriate for my age or makes anyone here uncomfortable. Iv been looking into this since around the age of 11 and want to finally do something about it while I'm still young. This whole thing has gotten me extremely upset in the past and is still extremely painful to think about. Hopefully this doesn't make anyone uncomfortable and everyone realizes that I'm just trying to get my body back just like anybody else here.

Thanks for any information that you guys can supply me.

    1. Yes you could use a DTR. The younger you are when you start the faster your skin will grow! That will make your restoration go much faster than mine will. I'm 44 years old, I know I'm older than dirt! =P So at 15 (almost 16) your skin will grow much faster than mine does.

    2. That depends on you. I only use my DTR 2-6 hours a day. I use it for about 1 hour sessions at High Tension multiple times a day. Number of sessions just depends on my schedule that day. Then I wear the DTR Retainer while not using the DTR. I believe the DTR Retainer also helps with skin growth. So I would highly recommend getting it with your DTR. I would also recommend to go ahead and order the Spacers for the Retainer when you order it all. That way you don't have to order them latter on. Plus that way you'll save a little bit on shipping. The spacers add length to the retainer so you can keep tension with the Retainer as your skin grows. The Retainer doesn't cause a lot of tension and can be worn all day. Even while at school if you wish. Tho you will need to go to stalls while going to the restroom at school or in public so you can take your retainer off and on. I'd also recommend putting a piece of string around the retainer and attaching the string to a safety pin. You the attach the safety pin to inside of your underwear or pants. That way if it should come loose you won't lose it or have it falling to the floor for others to see in public.

    3. CI-3 is an awesome place to start! That means your already half way to CI-6! This is where I started out too. I've been restoring for about 4.5 Months and I am at CI-4 now! Due to your age you would probably get to CI-4 Faster than I did. =D

    4. To buy the DTR Kit you need to message the creator of the DTR ([email protected]). Just let him know you want to buy the kit and he will message you back with a link to a Shop page that has the kit on it. That page will also have all the other items on it too, so you can order anything else you wish at that time also. You don't have to give any measurements. The measurements you saw must have been for something else. If you still have your Frenulum order the DTR with the Notched Push Plate if not get the Standard. Once you've add everything you wish to purchase just have your parents put it their credit card info or use Paypal to buy it all. Easy!

I would also recommend to get the following with your DTR:

    A. Retainer - The Retainer keeps your skin pulled forward and also provides a small amount of tension while not actively using the DTR. I believe it does help with skin growth!
    B. Spacers - These extend the Retainer allowing it to keep providing tension as your skin grows longer. I'm at CI-4 now and I use them.
    C. Standard or Notched Conform Plate - This allows you to give a little more tension without having to buy a long bar. I also find it more comfortable than the smaller Push Plate. Tho you will might need to have some skin growth before you'll be able to use it. Still nice to have it already on hand when you can use it. If you know you want this you can also just order your DTR Kit with it already so don't have to pay extra for it.
    D. Extra Holed Gripper - The DTR Kit comes with one Holed and one No Holes Gripper. The Extra Holed Gripper is for a technique to use if you have slippage while using the DTR. You put two Holed Grippers on and then put your skin between the Two Holed Grippers. This stops most slippage if you have any. Better to have it on hand if you need it, instead of having to wait for it to come in after you order it.

    5. Cleaning the DTR is super easy. Just wash it with antibacterial soap and dry it with paper towels. Do this every day you use it!

    6. Main thing to remember is it should never hurt. Feeling a little tight is ok, but if it hurts back off the tension IMMEDIATELY! If you tear the skin you'll not be able to use your DTR for days or weeks, till the skin is FULLY healed! The number one cause of issues is using too much tension.

    I hope that helps! =D

Thank you for all the help, it means alot. Something iv noticed is that i seem to have a "turtle neck" of inner skin compared to outer. It really feels like the second i get some more inner or outer that it'll go over sometimes, i seem closeish to ci-4 already. Is it really harder to grow outer? Iv heard from some people that you need more inner, so should i be set to just use the dtr?

Another thing to take note of, I'v eactually been homeschooled for quite awhile, so there's no issue there.
Really happy to have such head start on this thing, but i am slightly concerned with even growth due to my larger amount of inner.

Using the DTR you should be fine. While it seems inner skin does seem to grow easier, you can worry about making it more even once you have coverage. You can adjust the way you put on the DTR to focus on outer skin if you need to.

Most likely you wouldn't be able to start off with the Conform Plate. Most people need to be CI4 or CI5 to use it so thinking back on it, you might want to hold off on that till you need it. Tho if you wanted to get everything in one go you could order one now. That's completely up to you.

Here is a breakdown of an order if you ordered everything I mentioned:

            DTR Kit $89
            (Optional) Retainer $35
            (Optional) Spacers $15
            (Optional) Holed Gripper $4.50
            (Optional) Conform Plate $35
DTR Kit with Retainer: $124.00 with free shipping
Total with everything except Conform Plate: $143.50 with free shipping
Total with Conform Plate $178.50 with free shipping

Like I said earlier the other stuff you don't have to have. It's just nice to have it when you need/want it. So you can start off with just the kit, but I do highly recommend getting the DTR Retainer for sure! The Spacers, Extra Holed Gripper, and Conform Plate are just really nice to have for the reasons I listed before.

The DTR Retainer I believe is an integral part of gaining coverage faster. I use my DTR and the DTR Retainer every single day. I use the DTR for about 1 hour 2-6 times a day at high tension. Then I wear the retainer any time I'm not using the DTR. I do NOT wear either to bed for several reasons. 1) Your skin needs relaxed time to grow. It doesn't grow as fast if under tension 24/7. 2) wearing either to bed can cause you damage/pain due to erections while you are sleeping.

About 5 months go I started at CI3 I'm now at CI4 almost CI5! So I know the DTR works! Just takes time, patience, and dedication to a good regiment of stretching! Just remember restoring your foreskin is a marathon not a sprint!

I seem to have to push it in towards me to get it on. Is this normal or should i be able to roll the skin over without pushing inwards?

It looks like the base of the shaft buldges up when i try to put it on /:
