  • CI-3 to CI-4

I'm finding that the jump between CI-3 and CI-4 is taking a long time. If you look at my progress gallery you'll see that I have a lot of wrinkles in my skin and that it is all bunched up behind the corona, but the skin just won't extend up onto the glans. From what I've read this is considered the "hump" to get over, or a period of a plateau. Progress feels as though it has almost stalled, even though I know it hasn't. To anybody who has already completed this jump, about how long did it take you between the CI-3 and CI-4 stages? Any words of wisdom for me?

I think the coverage index is iffy at best. Depending on the temperature, what I'm doing, etc, my CI goes from 4 to 9. The CI doesn't account for physiological variations. My Corona is substantial, to say the least. I'll be a CI-15 before I get "spontaneous roll over" simply because my Corona is significantly larger than my shafts regardless of how flaccid or erect I am.

So my words of wisdom would be, don't worry about roll over, just focus on overall coverage. Even if you have to put things back in place on occasion. Coverage will come, just keep tugging!

I'm in the same boat. I am so close to CI4. I have been there for about a year. The only way I know I'm making progress is that as time goes on my device keeps getting easier to put on. In that year I have also gone from no spacers on my TLC X with the short rod to the 6mm spacer with the long rod and I can get my skin all the way to the top of the device no problem and extend 5he pusher with the spacer about 3/4". 5hat is sure sign of growth. I have a feeling I'll wake up one morning and BAM! A foreskin is born.

The CI-3 to 4 stage is NOT a plateau where growth is stalling.

It may seem that way BUT you are continually growing more skin and your foreskin will not STAY beyond the rim of the glans until you've grown enough skin to do so. How long it takes to achieve this varies from person to person but it is always a stage that takes longer than we hope/like.

Just keep on tugging and you'll get over the "hump" eventually.

I have the same penile anatomy with a widely flared glans standing well clear of my shaft – flaccid or erect. After 11 years I consider myself restored with 100% flaccid coverage. My glans was a huge obstacle and the only answer was to keep adding to the skin growth. It took 5 years to get from the point where I had sufficient skin to push physically over my glans to being able to maintain a roll over that stays naturally in place. The good news is that the flare on the corona which acted as a "skin dam" holding back my accumulating wrinkles, now has the opposite effect of acting as a supporting structure holding my skin in the forward position.

Everyone in this thread, and on the entire board should listen to WoodyHoody. He's described above what actually happens with expanded penile skin, over time.

Thanks for the insightful responses, guys. I guess some people make a jump from no flaccid coverage to nearly full flaccid coverage while others have the skin slowly start to work it's way up the glans. I'm probably going to be in the same situation as you, WoodyHoody. I'm going to have to keep on tugging and be patient with the results.

Well said WoodyHoody- with time and persistence you'll achieve your goal. It took years for me to achieve flaccid coverage.

Interesting thoughts here. I suppose the very same. My corona is subtantially thick and the skin in there to go over but will not stay over until it is slightly longer in which case it may well appear long at the start to progress and suddently making a big step forward. Time will tell, but if there is enough tension, the magic happens: mitosis! Haha

CI levels dont seems to be a very scientifically documented thing, but yet somewhat milestone we will reach a different times. From one CI to the other it may be faster or longer for some and vice versa for others, the real thing is how much had grown over certain period of time. Tough to measure. Some people say take monthly photos to check any signs of progress and boost your motivation!

I assume that progress is all relative from where you started (full or partial cut) and the techniques you use (single vs blend) and time... Tugging tugging tugging! All the way...

Exactly. I'm in the same boat with a large glans. The skin just keeps piling up behind the corona. However, when we do gain enough skin to roll over, and especially when full coverage is attained, that very same large glans that presents an obstacle to roll over will help keep the skin in place when there is enough. Hang in there and KOT!
