Elevated Scar

Hey guys,

I just want to say that I used to lurk on the old forum and it really helped me through my grieving process.

I do have a question. One of the things that I had read on the old site was that scars would fade as the skin expands, but I don't remember all the details. Does that apply to elevated scarring (hypertrophic?). I haven't been restoring very long so I don't know what to expect.

The people who make ReJuveness tape claim that keeping silicone sealed over hypertrophic scars will make them soften and fade (not to 100% pre-injury or anything). I suggest we should learn from them why they think so.
