I'm finally getting white stuff in earnest on my restored foreskin. I wash every day. But it builds up fast. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to keep my penis clean now that I have enough skin to have dead skin cells build up? Soap, etc? (NO anti soap posters please. I know what you mean, but I can't leave it that way. It smells.)

The soap in the link below has a pleasant odor when using it. It is gentle on the skin. I used it prior to covering 24/7 and will use it on occasion for the very reason that you posted.
I consider the restored glans to be way more sensitive than facial skin. Knowing now what it means to have a restored glans, I am going to try this before using anything more harsh.
There is also a similar product that is for body. I have both and like the facial one better.

Yes, it smells, but that's normal. Rinsing for a few seconds really should be enough. Maybe rub off anything built up with your fingers. The smell will eventually come back, but you can always rinse it again while showering. Once you've got permanent coverage, though, that smell will stay trapped underneath your foreskin. No big deal.
As for how it smells, that's controllable, to some extent. Urine has an obvious odor. What's not so obvious (and took me a while to figure out) is semen left over after masturbation or sex, which creates a fishy smell. Again, rinsing for a few seconds is all that's needed.👍 1Comment

As z726 said I find it easy to control the odor so I haven't had need to use the soap. It sits at the ready just in case I feel the need to use it.Check Out My Progress Gallery Presently a CI-9

The smell has actually gotten stronger with more length of foreskin coverage. It's still gross, and it still greets me when I take my pants off, but it is starting to be trapped under my inner foreskin now instead of just sticking to my shaft. I think it might also be a fungal thing?Comment

If it is a fungal thing, you'll want to get that treated forthwith.Check Out My Progress Gallery Presently a CI-9

I’m not anywhere near your status of skin growth, so my only comparison is sniffing the inside of the ‘bell’ part of my PTainer once I’ve removed it. Even though my olfactory sense isn’t particularly strong, sometimes I do detect an odor on the device, so I’ll simply wash it with soap while showering.
Usually before my wife and I have an encounter, we both will wash up so that any oral delight is sans odor, especially since her sense of smell is rather keen. Additionally, why wouldn’t I want to be as fresh and clean smelling for her pleasure…same as I’d want from her for my pleasure. Granted, there are always exceptions to the rule, plus it seems some folks are actually ‘turned on’ by certain smells. I’m sorry that you find your body’s musk so offensive, but I totally get it. Although some restorers have posted about the thrilling feeling of urine as it flows inside one’s foreskin, stale urine can also be quite unpleasant. I wonder whether pulling back ones foreskin prior to urinating would help in cutting down on the odor, if you aren’t already doing so. I’m at a loss as to the solution to your problem.Tugger1Comment

I'm beginning to think that I have experienced the same thing that started about 4 days ago. I was wet, sticky and the odor was foul. I developed a small red patch on the tip of my glans. I stopped using my devices and began soaking the end of my penis in a solution of water and Epson Salt. I mixed it 30cc of Epson Salt to about 10oz of warm water in a coffee cup. I've been soaking in it periodically over the last four days. The odor is gone and only a trace of the redness is still there. My glans looks none the worse for the wear and are moist but not wet. So, the Epson Salt seems to have cleared it up....whatever it was.

Epson Salt is something to keep in mind if you get a reaction from the anti fungal. It is easy to use and it is non toxic. It is a chemical compound magnesium sulfate H2SO4. It has many uses. People take soaking baths in it, soak their feet in it and even drink a solution of it as a laxative. It doesn't kill fungus - however - it does draw the moisture out and makes it a difficult environment for fungus to continue to grow. It has totally cleared up my problem.
It is available at drugstores. Typically sold in cartons that look like a milk carton (made of cardboard). That is typically how I purchase it and I always keep some in my medicine cabinet.Check Out My Progress Gallery Presently a CI-9

well in 2012 I got stupid with my full coverage and just to see what it was like to have the dreaded-yet fettishers' love of CHEESE would be like and then just wash it and keep clean. Sadly I got my wish, after only 4 days my head was BEET RED, gooie white "sludge". My GP was pissed at me and gave me prescription anti-bacterial. a few days later I was ok and never trodded that path again. NOW? well I have plenty of smegma in the mornings, more than I would think a restored hood would produce but i use the forever wonderful oil, EMU OIL on my head before I adjust the hood back over. I do not use soap per se, I like my MUSK SCENT but not the infections and Emu Oil has anti-bacterial properties, thoroughly absorbs into the skin over the day and have never had an issue since, I was that cat that could just not resist being stupid- yes RTM was stupid on that adventure. But Emu oil is great for daily "wear" under the hood, it promotes cell repair as well. It doesn't promise it, Research has shown it to so it's a good product for burns, blisters etc. One thing I did start doing a few years back was putting a dab of Vaseline under the hood before bed, seems like with babies and their wet diapers, 5 boys made me thing this out! LOOL!,...., it creates a barrier to the smegma and tho the smegma is fresh, my glans are always protected at night, In the mornings I rinse it all out and let my natural moisture take over for the day with a really thin film of Emu Oil- and it does not take long for it to.
I had a friend that used gadgets to restore, and he was having this issue too. I told him to get some anti-bacterial spray and wash the gadgets with an anti- bacterial dish soap, and then let it air dry and right before bed and having done the first steps, spray it down with medical grade, anti-bacterial spray you can get at Walmart and let that air dry as well. It worked like a charm for him and he finished off his restoring in later months. But you are sleeping so your gadget is not on. Just take 5 minutes before bed and sanitize the gadget. That way it will be ready for use every morning. good luck- RTMComment
