  • Best Way to Dekeratinize Glans....

    Hi,
I'm relatively new to the whole concept of restoration, but am very interested in dekeratinizing my glans. What are the best ways to do so? What is the quickest way to do so? At the moment, I am using the silicone bottle top method, while using a vitamin e moisturizer and exfoliating twice a day.

I'd only been focusing on growing skin, no thought to dekeratinizing at all. Recently 2 changes occurred in my daily activity, well 3. I got serious about restoration again, I'd started taking Pygeum supplements, & I was using an o-ring restrainer pretty much 24-7 if not in my DTR. After about a week my glans had become sensitive on top & blotchy in color. The gray blue hue was being replaced by a healthy red color. I really think the skin to skin worked to exfoliate & suspect the normal daily sweat acted as a mild acid. An amazing difference is unfolding all for the use of a stupid little o-ring. The pygeum I mention because it seems to be doing some sort of circulation improvement in my body.

I'm of the mind that nothing gives us a more natural state than nature. So I say keep your own skin over the glans 24/7 (except when tugging) and wash the end of the penis only with clear water. Never tolerate dry friction during intimacy.

Evolution, you mention the O-ring and I've seen that mentioned many times. How do you determine the size to use. So far my "trial and error" I can't quite figured that one out. Thanks!

I'm gonna give you a piece of advice and tell you that you shouldn't be messing with your shaft. You could seriously damage your sensitivity if you try to find a short solution to a problem that's frankly solved over long spans of time.

I'm telling you from experience. Do not dekeratinize until you have reliable coverage or can retain easily with an o ring. The increased sensitivity will be very uncomfortable with your glans chaffing in your clothing. Everybody wants increased sensitivity. Let nature do it when it's time.

Same here, letting dekeratinization happen on its own is the better way. You probably already have enough skin, so just pull that up and over your glans, fix it there (temporarily) and do your day. The tissue change you want, ie "shiny", will happen when it was meant to, without trying to force it.

And because I am Info The Irritating, it is my role to mention that any studied effect of pygeum has nothing to do with dekeratinization directly (or any other way), nor does "circulation improvement" (whatever that means) have any effect on tissue sloughing. Plus, you have to take a giant leap of faith to think that you're actually getting something like pygeum, in an unregulated market. You have BPH? Try it (if you're not on some other medication). Just want a shiny wet knob? Forget it.

I've recently started wearing the cone at night and though I haven't seen any changes like I've seen some guys get (the skin peeling, etc), I am definitely noticing a difference in the skin texture of the head of my penis. It has more of a shiny appearance now, both flaccid and erect. Is that a typical outcome? I wear it nightly for probably 6-7 hours and it usually stays put, even with nocturnal erections. I think the few times it has slipped off is likely when the erection was more prolonged and resulted in a heavier release of preseminal fluid that may have caused it to slip.

I have been retaning and manual tugging for about 3 yrs. I was cut loose so I can cover my glans during those years.

Still my glans are not fully dekretenized and there still a lot of dry cracks. But its already sensitive all over the glans. Ron Low's glans in comparison is so shiney.

If the the admin (Ron Low) is reading this, do mind telling us on about how long you got that shinny glans.

You're talking about the "BE PREPARED" pic here: http://tlctugger.com/your-skin-cone/

I tugged with the lotiony taped canister method for a few months and then switched to a tapeless tugger, at which time I mostly stopped using anything but clear water on my glans. I might have the dated version of that photo somewhere. I'd speculate it was after at least a year of tugging.

But it's a little deceptive, I admit. Note how I'm drawing the skin back with my hand. That makes the surface of the glans tighten up.

Oh, If I tighten my glans too it gets shiney with some small liney cracks here and there. How bout now...After a long time retaining (more than a decade) do you have your glans with the natural gloss?

Shininess is about the trade-off between using only water on the glans and always staying covered and even washing only rarely, and then on the flip side - smelling less, not being so ticklish that it's painful to touch, it cetera
