  • Help ... with blisters

I found out about restoring not long ago and started the tugging process.
First problems I ran into were a very soar corona. It was so bad that I had to take a break ...
But I had got use to the thought that I should at all times protect the glans and not leave it out to rub against the clothes and not let it dry up.
So what I did was to arrange the foreskin to partly cover the glans and keep it there using different types of tape and plaster to protect the glans. But the glans developed blisters on about 1/4 of the surface. So I now only protect the glans with a soft cloth that I buy at the farma and keeping it moist with a very soft creme.
If I don't the glans looks like a disaster. It drys up completely and the skin peals of. That is if I just leave it out like I used to do before restoring.
The blisters have gone but they have left a red and strange skin that drys up very easily.
Hopefully it will heal again. Any one that can explain what is happening to the skin on the glans?

Just now I made a experiment ... I tried the sensitivity of the penis.
If I touch the penis with a pen ... I can tell everywhere I'm being touched ... except on the glans. The sensation on the glans is completely different. I can not tell where I'm being touched ... is this from damage or is it normal?

The glans is not a particularly sensitive portion of the penis to touch. It's a very popular misconception (especially in the US) that it's the most sensitive part of the penis but it's not. The inner foreskin is the most sensitive, which unfortunately is partially to totally amputated by circumcision.

I would not use plaster on your penis. The blisters were probably a reaction to something you were putting on it or perhaps even a chemical burn. A very sore corona is indicative of excessive tugging. Be gentler with your penis. It's the only one you've got.

There's really no substitute for restoration when it comes to regaining natural glans coverage. I personally do not use products of any sort on the glans. It's just not necessary. I use a topical moisturizer at the end of the day around the skin that is gripped by devices (But none on the glans). That is it.

Yes the blisters are a chemical burn. Plaster has calcium chloride in it to make it cure. Let it heal up and buy a damn device! Stop damaging yourself MORE. Getting circumcised is more than enough damage than any one should endure.

The plaster or tape was not applied on the glans. The tape is applied on the skin away from the foreskin ...
The reason I do this is to hold the foreskin out on the glans ... I have the device ... but I get problem with the corona when using the tugger.
If I just leave the glans free in my underwater it is worse than not covering it up

How tight or loose were you cut and how long ago?

Oh, the tape! Maybe you(My day) accidentaly had the tape sticking on your glans since you dont have much outer foreskin to hold the whole tape.

If you use tape, Parceskin said about chemicals will be present with duct tape. Use only medical tape like Micropore.

There are better ways to retain like Your Skin Cone and O rings. They cause micro tears since with tape you have to remove the tape gently.

            KOT!

The problem I get with using cone is that it falls off.
Altos, if I use the device to pull the forskin forwards, there is a particular point on the corona that hurts very very much. It turns glowing red, like there is a infection on the corona it selfe ... I have not problems doing manual tugging, but the reson I trye to keep the forskin covering the glans, is that if I leave the glans exposed it dryes out, and the skin cracks .. this has started since I started tugging ... the glans no longer tolerates being exposed. If I dont use cream for moist, it dryes out ... it is not even very long ago I started the restoring process, and I want to complete it.

My suggestion is to get the manhood retainer (http://manhood.mb.ca/). Made from some silky materials. If your out of budget maybe a pantyhose cut to lenght will suffice.

If your corona is very red and/or it really looks like you have an infection consult a foreskin freindly doctor. Maybe you can post a picture here so other users may offer suggestions.

I may speculate that your nails dig to your corona when manual tugging. I have injured my inner foreskin and since then kept my nails short leaving 2mm of whites and smoothing them with a nail file.
