I'm just starting restoring. I have three questions.
1. As I restore, will the circumcision scar go away or be less noticeable? Mine is red and uneven.
2. I use a condom when having sex to protect against HIV. If I am fully restored with my glans covered, it this a problem? Do you skin it back or pull it forward when putting on the rubber?
3. My family doctor is Jewish and in his 40's. I am sure he is cut. He examines my genitals when I have my annual physical. What do I say to him when my restoration becomes obvious? He knows that I was circumcised. Anyone else have this situation, and how did you handle it?

That has been my experience, and many others have reported the same. Mine has become so hard to see that I con no longer use it to align tape, which I used to rely upon when I first started.

Yes, intact men pull their skin back, then put the condom on, then slip their skin forward again, trapping the condom inside and outside their foreskin. In that way they can keep the moveable skin moving, rather than having it trapped inside the condom. According to reports form men who have experienced both (whihc are few and far between) intercourse with a foreskin inside a condom as described above is a lot better. some references:

Well, you don't have to say anything. And, if he asks, just answer. I have had little success with changing any doctor's mind, but there have been some supportive, and those that were not, just dismissed the value of doing it and dropped the subject.

After I had been restoring for a while, I asked my urologist about his thoughts. He just denied the value of a foreskin for sexual feelings and functions. Seemed to want to drop the subject, so I just left it at agree to disagree, since I and my wife had found a significant increase in pleasure by that point. Shrug.

A couple years ago I had a UTI. I explained what I was doing, in case that might have been a potential cause. the PA that was examining me seemed uncomfortable, but didn't think that was a likely cause.

Other men have reported doctors taking second glances and being surprised that their notes said circumcised because the patient now had a foreskin. Enjoy!

One thing to keep in mind, is that doctors are human, and can be biased, so you need to be your own advocate. Trust but verify is sometimes said. Given that your doctor is Jewish, the chance he will have a bias is good to keep in mind. Most of the time it may not come into play, but when it gets to your foreskin, consider that aspect.

Other than 1 visit to a dermatologist to check out something, I haven't had to strip for a doctor visit since i was a child?

When asked for 'surgical history' i've started including Genital Mutilation with the others. 'Non-consentual Genital Mutilation' if there's enough room for it. If they want to make a big deal of it, their next patient is going to wave a long wait. If they want to be all stubborn and pro-mutilation, time to fire them and get a new doc.

The scarring gets more faint, but don't expect it to ever look fully right

Three of my last 4 doctors are Jewish. I wrote in my progress gallery https://foreskinrestoration.vbulleti...ger-s-progress about the reception they gave to my restoring. Generally, doctors have had no issue.

I just recently had to show my restored skin to two new doctors because I've been diagnosed with a hernia and will require surgery. I chose in both cases to be wearing a Your-Skin Cone https://foreskinrestoration.vbulleti...ring-this-exam when they encountered my penis. I don't think it affected the quality of care I received.

Have any of you used any of the penile skins creams, like the ones on Amazon's website? After the years of being uncovered since I was cut, my glans is very tough and dry. I'm not far enough along with restoring to cover my glans, so I thought maybe a cream would help.
