  • painful memories we bury deep in us.

Anyone know what happened to the few studies that pertained to the disconnect between the newborn Male and his mother from being circumcised? It was the first issue I thot about when I started my looking into restoration. and restoration will not heal this problem- counseling will. Doctors have always known we are animals. What is the first thing the doctor does when the newborn is out and quickly cleaned up,...., given over to the mother. NOT so mom can hug and love on the child, but the animal need to connect by SCENT. All animals do this and it has never been removed from the "sterile birthing environment. For 10-15 minutes that newborn male will lock in on his mother's scent but that is when it starts to go badly wrong. A stranger in sterile clothing whisks him away to a plastic or metal "baby on his back" form, straps him down and proceeds to cut on that child's penis. There is no scent on the doctor, only pain, numbed or not, and then after that terrific painful event, he is given back to the only scent that Newborn Male knows,., and associates the pain with, that scent,..., his mother. Wife beating, cruelty toward the mother, not being close to his mother, loss of connection with the mother, all these and more unconsciously driven reactions tied to those first 20 minute out of the womb have been looked at and diagnosed and I cannot find one of the studies, yet that were being well talked about in 2009-2012. I am looking- I know they are there- just buried I'm only too sure. Will publish then here when I do!- RTM

HOOOT! BINGO!_ I knew if I wrote this all out,..., the articles would show up! LOL!!!!! This is one of the best I have read, It actually joins all the previous studies' finding from years of research into one legitimate Article.

I was so shocked when I learnt that some circumcisions are done without anaesthetic. And they have this outrageously misguided view that the baby won't remember any perception of the trauma, thus don't bother using anaesthetic. Firstly, the doctor would have to be a sociopath to remain calm and collected while knifing a baby with all the baby's screaming without anaesthetic; something has to be missing in the doctors psychology there; that screams sociopath to me; secondly, even IF there was no memory of the event (and as you point out that is challenged and we think there IS), that still does not justify the act. That's the equivalent as saying "date rape is okay because she is passed out and won't remember the guy having Unconsentual sex with her, so don't worry about it..." Obviously that would get attention, but this equivalent circumstance of the baby being claimed to not remember and therefore performing this Unconsentual act is in any way justified, is not recognised in the same light. So even IF there was no memory, it would still be unjustified. But as you point out, the trauma may remain and be translated throughout the lifespan, which makes this whole thing not only physical assault but psychological abuse.

Also, memory or not, it is still inflicting pain at the time, which is obviously unethical and sociopathic.

That's how it used to be done universally, including in Australia till around 1986. I think that carried on in the USA till recent years.

In the US it's about 50/50 done without effective pain management. A recent death was due to lidocaine overdose.

The safest approach is no anesthetic, no surgery.

Ben15, Any form of pain relief or anestetic is handled badly by infants, and very likely to also mess them up pretty badly. So rather than trying to be ethical and just not doing unnessicary surgery on someone, who can't consent, without an anesthesiologist present, they'll just skip all of that and mutilate the kid raw.

Other times for pain relief they'll give the baby a Sponge of Sugar-water to suck on. It won't help your pain, but maybe it keeps you calmer while the kid next to you is getting attacked first?

As for the sociopath part, you'd be amazed what people are willing to do to others once they've become convinced that it's "good" or has some "benefit". History is full of other examples that seem absolutely INSANE, but the people have rationalized it to themselves one step at a time.

At least healing pre-verbal trauma is harder to deal with through therapy, than if it happens later in life.

But it's cool, torturing an infant into Shock is totally something they can pass off to their parents as "it's not that bad, they even fell asleep during their mutilation"

Saying someone is "Unmutilated" is like saying "Unsweet Tea". So you mean it's just Tea, in its natural state, that nobody has screwed up? It can't be Un- anything
