Do you do anything on Mutilation Day?

I know that things have the power over you, that you let it take. Sometimes thoughts won't stop taking.

For those of you who have figured out your Mutilation day, what do you do to try to get back to a better place on that horrible anniversary?

Some years it's just another day, some it just digs in and starts to spiral...

I once posted on Facebook about my amputation anniversary (3 weeks after I was born). Now I see it in my Facebook Memories almost every year so I'm reminded to post again.

I do my best to avoid everyone and everything on my birthday and mutilation days and have for most of my 55 years.... I was butchered the day after I was born, less than 24 hours ...everyone who knows me well knows to leave me alone on those days.... only 1 person contacts me on my birthday and he calls to support me... he is my best friend and is 15 days older than me and intact ... he knows that I'm at crazy rage/depression then each year and he can handle me at my worst
