You probably should go get a full cardiovascular exam. Sounds like blocked carotid artery or the ones around your heart. This is nothing to mess around with.

UPDATE: I am scheduled to see a urologist in a couple weeks... My speculation is that this issue is related to a variocele that an ER doctor diagnosed me with. He said they are harmless, but upon further research, they are not harmless and can give me all the symptoms I have been suffering with.

I have been in hell for months now but I have found relief in the form of horny goat weed as it has blood flow benefits and seems to help take away many of my symptoms... I am praying that my hormones have not been affected by the variocele, but it seems that sometimes varioceles can cut test levels in half.

I am surviving and tugging again with a PUD device, relying on aloe and goat weed to help grow new skin and keep my symptoms of fatigue and anxiety at bay, not to mention pelvic pain....

I can't wait to see the urologist!!! They make it so hard to get an appointment!! I should have been seen sooner... Rock bottom is getting worn out my friends...

But I am back in the game and happily tugging again... Work is getting better for me as I can concentrate much better. The confusion was crippling and I am lucky that I was not layed off...

          Hang in there.

          Best wishes

I personally think it is a blood flow issue. When I first started having trouble I was tugging and using copious amounts of tobacco chew.... I will be seeing someone soon. God bless.

                UPDATE:

Saw urologist, said I was fine.. My symptoms disagree.

Still have pelvic pain, he scheduled a ultrasound.

I have found a tremendous amount of relief in TONGKAT ALI, and aloe gel. Combined with multi and skin vitamin formula.

I have tried every single supplement out there, this one actually works, clears my head of confusion and anxiety, and lightens the pelvic pain.

80 percent is better than 30.

using horny goat weed at night and ice packs for inflammation to spermatic cord.

supplements are letting me down, they each have bad side effects.....

thought tongkat was helping, crashed my system today, had to go home.

                    UPDATE:

Saw a different doctor today for a second opinion. Put me on antibiotics, as I have swollen lymph nodes in pelvic area now.. YAY....

He thinks it is either chronic epidiymitis or chronic prostatis... Both of which were shrugged off by a urologist....

I know that tugging has triggered this issue for me and am still confused...

What do I do? I can't turn back now...

If my spermatic cord is getting inflamed, how can I stop it? Will it stop eventually?

Can I grin and bear this suffering, for 2 more years????

A word of caution about Tongkat Ali:

Tongkat Ali is a much sought-after male aphrodisiac. It is a herb that grows in Southeast Asia. It has been overharvested, and it is in very short supply. The best extracts of Tongkat Ali are a 200-fold enrichment, which is extremely hard to obtain.

When tested, much of the Tongkat Ali sold in the U.S. is found to be counterfeit. The counterfeiters often substitute base herbs for Tongkat Ali, and they lace the base herbs with illegally synthesized Viagra. The illegally synthesized Viagra is not at all pharmaceutical grade, containing the byproducts of the chemical synthesis that are never purified out.

                        Salamander,
I've had a set of symptoms similar to yours. It starts as a sharp pain in my lower pelvic region, and then progresses as an overwhelming dull achy pain that encompasses my entire pelvic region, and sometimes goes up into my abdomen. It hurts so badly I can't even think. In my case, I know it is due to the fancy colo-rectal surgery that I had over 30 years ago to avoid having to have had an ostomy. I don't get a purple, or painful penis, like you report, but the extreme pain can interfere with urination.

Tylenol #3 (acetaminophen plus codeine) was usually an effective treatment, but I didn't like being dependent upon a doctor to write a prescription for me. Then I found out that taking a prescription dose of ibuprofen (800 mg, or four OTC 200mg tablets) all at once was also effective treatment (Please be advised, the label on the bottle says that you should not use ibuprofen if you have had 3 or more standard alcoholic drinks in the preceding 24 hours because of a risk of internal bleeding).

Ultimately, I found an herbal remedy that worked the best:
                        Red Raspberry Leaf herb....
....and it has no side effects for me to deal with.

Until recently, I was able to buy dried Red Raspberry Leaf herb in small quantities at a specialty foods market that had bulk herbs for sale. (but, alas, they discontinued it.) One U.S. dollar's worth lasted a long time for me. I take a pinch of the the dried leaves and chew on it like chewing tobacco, and the pain disappears in less than a minute (absorption must be sublingual). Then I swallow the wad for continued action.

Red Raspberry Leaf is an anti-spasmodic herb. It is frequently used by women to deal with menstrual cramps. It's also used to promote the health teeth and gums, and to treat gingivitis. It is also used as an anti-diarrheal.

Red Raspberry Leaf herb is also available in capsule form, made by Solaray and sold at Vitamin Shoppe outlets and other retailers of herbal remedies. It is also sold in tea bag form.

Other anti-spasmodic herbs I've found useful are:
                        1) Chamomile (also known as German Chamomile), often sold as a sleepy-time tea. (Please be advised, some people with ragweed allergies say they also react adversely to Chamomile.)
                        2) Fresh Ginger Root.
                        3) Cramp Bark - Another herb used as a menstrual cramp remedy by women. I've used the tincture sold in eyedropper bottles by Herb Pharm as directed on the bottle's label.

Again, I'm not a licensed practitioner of medicine or herbalism. I'm just offering information on what worked for me on a trial and error basis.

Take my advice: You should not do that.

If I smoke, I can't maintain a good erection IF I even manage to get one.

Have you ever seen a guy who has chewed for 50 years? It's not pretty.

I am now only taking one herb, trying it out, it is called Yarrow... I think i am on to something here. It supposedly helps with blood flow to sexual organs and has mild side effects.

If this herb fails me, I will be trying Gotu Kola. It generally takes a few days for me to find something that seems to work... So far not really satisfied with the nearing 20 bottles of herbs that I have in the kitchen.

I thought a mild aphrodisac would be key... I was wrong as the side effects are strong, affecting the heart, thyroid, and hormones.

Yarrow is really more of a mild antiseptic, and has some circulation benefits...

                              Wish me luck.

PS: Doctor still has not gotten back to me. I was given a diagnosis (second opinion) of either CHRONIC Prostasis, or Epididimytis.

Saw Palmetto makes me fall asleep at moderate to high doses. Really terrible... ALthough it did help some of my pelvic pain subside. It was not a cure all and also made me impotent. Also gave me retrograde ejaculations....

So I am hoping this Yarrow will knock out the epididimytis for good. The course of antibiotics was useless as far as I can see as this is not bacterial, but repetitive strain on my groin area.

I am looking into a hernia jock, let me know any ideas you may have to help me!!! My doctor said he would call me, and took today off... What a... ah nevermind.
