My son and daughter-in-law are expecting a baby boy in a couple of weeks. This will be my 1st and only grandchild.

We haven't discussed it before but I just wrote them to ask them NOT to circumcise the baby. Although I am circumcised, I did not circumcise my son. I sent them a link to the videos below to encourage them to make the "right" decision:

As strongly as I feel about it, it is ultimately their decision. I just hope they make the "right" one.

That's awesome! You need to sit down and talk to them directly and point out that the decision should be left up to HIM, not the parents. I don't think you'll have any problem getting them to make the right decision seeing as how your son is intact. Congrats!

My grandson was born on Sat 12/12/15. He was a big and healthy baby boy -- 8 lbs 14.6 oz and 20.67 (1 ft 8 2/3 inches) in length.

He's intact and I've got the pic to prove it, but I don't want to "out" him on the Net at such a young age.

My mother passed away in September after 101 years, 9 months and 16 days on this earth. Too bad she didn't live just a few months longer to see her great-grandson born.

Oh well, one person dies and another is born. Life is renewed and we move on . . .
