Allegedly the Internet ran out of IP addresses: coincidence?

I've always been one for a good conspiracy theory so here it goes. Maybe our forum was lost because the Internet is running low on space and 'the man' was trying to make room. Thoughts.

Please forgive me. I can't seem to share the pages I've been reading. Any dedicated members will have no trouble googling something along the lines of the thread title.

Silly or not, it doesn't apply in our case. The domain and hosting was still occupied after the database was destroyed. In fact I still haven't gotten around to cancelling with GoDaddy because I'm still deciding where to set up a bulk mailer.
