Tim Hammond, president of the Genital Autonomy Defense and Education Fund (GALDEF) will be attending this year's conference of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) in Antalya, Turkey, in early November. Joining him will be Dr. Mohamed Fahmy, one of the co-authors of Tim's recent research paper, "Foreskin Restorers: Insights into Motivations, Successes, Challenges and Experiences with Medical and Mental Health Professionals," published earlier this year in the International Journal of Impotence Research.
Tim had presented his preliminary findings 2 years ago at the WAS conference in 2021. This year, he and Dr. Fahmy will be presenting the results. Apparently there will be representatives of the World Health Organization in attendance, who will "need to hear this," according to the president of the WAS.
In support of this, they've launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise up to $7500 by October 31st, to help fund the travel expenses, conference fees, and accommodations. All donors will receive a free subscription to GALDEF’s email newsletter updates. Donors of $25 or more will receive a copy of the Abridged Summary and Unabridged Supplement of the published article from the IJIR.
