  • Help Tim Hammond With Cancer

Here's one I found with the WayBack machine from the old board, posted by Ron, and it is very much in need of an update.

Tim's NOHARMM webpage is still online, and as far as I know, he is still living.

Anyone know how things turned out for him?

Help Tim Hammond with cancer treatment

Tim Hammond, to whom we all owe a great debt, is battling prostate cancer. The next phase of his treatment is not covered by insurance.

You can support Tim by visiting a special page at the TLC Tugger web site. Choose these items which are marked up about 50%, and EVERY CENT of your purchase price goes to the Tim Hammond fund, plus you get fresh TLC gear as a premium.

    Go to http://TLCTugger.com/Tim

You can contribute a different amount directly at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ti...ncer/x/2467134

Tim is a restoring and intactivism pioneer. Witness his incredibly eloquent and effective communication ability in this recent video:

    Thanks for your help,

    Ron:

As strapped as I am for cash, I'll have to send Tim a donation.

I spoke to him on the phone a lot, and also corresponded with him, in the 1990s, and in the 2000s, have often visited his webpage.

The last time I sent him a(for me) sizable donation, was in the late 1990s, when Tim was trying to reach a goal on one of his projects.

I told him it would be the last time I would be able to donate, and in all these years, he never again asked me for any donations.

Sorry to learn about Tim's condition, and hope he makes a good recovery.

Ron, you are correct in saying that we all owe Tim a great debt, and I definitely intend to help Tim in his time of need.

I encourage all other FRs and Intactivists to help out a man who has done Great Things for Intactivism.

Also might want to point out for our younger readers that way back when, Tim was one of the two co-founders of NORM along with Wayne Griffiths. Wayne actually has stated on the organization's website that it was Tim's idea to start the support group. Definitely a pioneer; perhaps that's an understatement.

Hope he has checked out cannabis, if not it would be nice if someone could pass that along.
Also, chemo is brutal, and should be kept to a minimum.

Tim Hammond still needs our help.

You can use the IndieGoGo fundraising page or go to http://TLCTugger.com/Tim/ and I will give 100% your PayPal transaction over to Tim's care.
