Friday May 5th - Sunday May 7th you can be part of the Foreskin 2017 National Rally and Conference in Washington, DC. This is becoming an annual gathering of Intactivists. It includes daily protests for Genital Integrity at the White House, Smithsonian museum, and Capitol. In the evenings there will be dinners, speakers, workshops, panel discussions, and support for new & experienced Intactivists.

Coincidentally (or not), this May 7th will be the 5th annual Worldwide Day of Genital Autonomy. A couple years ago, one of the guys in this Intactivist Circle pointed out that the term "autonomy" is incorrectly used (and I totally agree with that), but it seems to have become popular of late. Recently I've heard others using the more general term "body autonomy" in conversation.

I'm glad to see online news of people getting together to strategize about intactivism. Their rally might be a bit redundant, coming just a month after Genital Integrity Awareness Week in DC, but then again, redundancy helps with visibility and public awareness.

GIAW is plagued with problems that we hope to avoid. Foreskin 2017 is being organized by a collaboration of people.
