I would wait until the sex of the kid is known, usually around 12 weeks or so. Then I would talk to your sister about it all and show her ALL the resources out there. Make sure to include info about the fact that many Jews are foregoing the procedure in favor of a no cut bris called Brit Shalom. Do this as soon as you know it's a boy so there will be plenty of time to educate and for the information to sink in.

Define "asshole". Other than being much more blunt than I was, it's such a black-and-white term that it fails in a discussion. But whatever, because I'm in the biz, my suggestion is to ask yourself why you'd support what he wrote. Button pushing only happens when you offer your buttons.

Going forward if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't bother posting.
