  • Reasons someone could be happy about adult circumcision? I am not pro infant or even juvenile circ!

FYI I am not pro circ in anyway this is just something I was thinking about right now as I was reading a page of testimonies claiming to be happy about adult circumcision and got to thinking. In what way could someone actually need or want a circumcision to have better sex?

For "growers" the foreskin retracts when erect (assuming they "grow" enough) but for some "showers" maybe they don't grow enough and they just don't have enough size to keep the skin back when having sex unless they hold it. When someone in that condition has a circumcision they feel the sex more since they are not having to occupy themselves with holding it back? maybe? I think they should look into penis enlargement and get more rather than less even if it seems better at the time. I have not had a lot of luck with penis enlargement myself but I keep trying! I am not small I just want to be big not "average" for this nation!

Some people may not loose as much sensitivity by having a dryed out and thickened (keratinized) glans but having noticed the difference myself between a dry, wrinkled and whitish-pink looking glans and a moist, smooth, purplish looking glans I will stick with a moist and smooth glans. My glans was about as sensitive as the heel of my foot (figuratively speaking) before FR but now I have a lot more sensation.

Infant circumcisions remove *alot* of tissue and adult circumcision does not always as there are many different ways to be circumcised as an adult so that more of the erogenous shaft tissue remains. Enough said! But don't count on your doc to tell you about it as he likely wont want to do it if your in the US!

Ultimately I think men circumcised as adults can be happy about it most because they had the choice as an adult. The website with the testimonials was circinfo.net a website that is procirc...

I think the reasons we sometimes hear of men who boast satisfaction after losing the foreskin as an adult include:

    1) They resented their foreskin due to feeling unlike family or friends, or due to teasing from being a penile minority, or from seeing mocking portrayed in media.

    2) They had bona fide medical problems with the foreskin which they believe were only treatable through amputative surgery.

    3) They had some reason to be cut AND owing to their adult status had the minimally amputative version, or at least had a say and succeeded in guiding the STYLE of the cut, and they lucked out as far as unintended effects goes.

I don't have any problem whatsoever with adult men chosing to get circumcised for whatever reason. I don't understand the point of alot of other types of body modification but I accept that they might make the people who undergo them happier with themselves. The difference between an adult man with all the information available to him choosing to be circumcised and being cut as a child is the same difference between having consentual sex and being raped. The argument sometimes used by those who are pro childhood genital cutting that because some men who are cut as adults are happy with the result that therefore it can't be harmful is the same as saying that because sex is (mostly) an enjoyable experience then rape can't be all that bad really.

Also regards sexual pleasure, some men who have been recently cut, especially when they are in their 20s, might not have experienced a drastic decrease in their penile sensation yet. The loss becomes more apparent when a cut man reaches his 30s or 40s when whatever natural decline in penile sensitivity that comes with age is greatly excacibated by the physical damage of circumcison.

        There's plenty of reasons IMO.

They may be too sensitive, and want to dull some of that out.

The owner may think it's cleaner, or at least easier to maintain, especially if they do have chronic problems with smell or whatnot.

The owner may believe it's safer from STDs. Debatable, but its their choice.

They, or their significant other, may like the look.

The thought of circumcision may turn them on, just like some people are morbidly sexually curious about penectomy and castration - rarely can we explain our fetishes.

There's reasons, though I'm mostly against circumcision, if there is a legit valid reason and they made an informed decision as an ADULT, then it's their choice

Most of the men at circumsexual.com would say they prefer not to be intact because of the look of the thing. They are "turned on" by the "look" of a cut penis.

Many also have a fascination with cutting, itself. One fellow from Toronto has suffered through three separate circumcisions ... all three self-administered. Another fellow in California became fascinated by the look of the exposed glans penis when he was bathed with a cut cousin. They were both aged three (3). Since becoming an adult he has had six separate circumcisions over the years. When I lost track of him 10 years ago he was in his 60's. No telling if he has had a seventh cut in the interim.

Many of these men will give you reasons for preferring not to be intact, but the main one is appearance.

And some people are freaks with a sexual perversion towards circumcision. Others think it will improve their lives in ways similar to what transgender people do.

Once the factual truth is learned, I can't see how anyone would be happy with being circumcised. Especially those of us who remember what it was like to be intact.

I have no real problem with circumcision as a cosmetic operation chosen by adults for themselves. We are owners of our own bodies. Whatever loss of functionality there is is on them as far as I am concerned.

I’m with mjwise, if a consenting adult chooses to be circumcised...any ill after effects are totally on him. Though I can’t imagine why any properly informed adult man would seriously consider doing this to himself. Just my opinion.
