Hi All,
Anyone know of researched links where all the possible circ harm is documented in a professional way to counteract the circ myths.
If we need to start one here:
Index could include headings such as:
Appearance - dissatisfaction with the result.[32] Perera CL, Bridgewater FH, Thavaneswaran P, Maddern GJ; Bridgewater; Thavaneswaran; Maddern (2010). "Safety and efficacy of nontherapeutic male circumcision: a systematic review". Annals of Family Medicine. 8 (1): 64–72.doi:10.1370/afm.1073. Complications
Bleeding The most common acute complications are bleeding, infection and the removal of either too much or too little foreskin.[4] American Academy of Pediatrics Task Force on Circumcision (2012). "Technical Report". Pediatrics. 130 (3): e756–e785.doi:10.1542/peds.2012-1990. ISSN 0031-4005.PMID 22926175.
Death Severe to catastrophic complications, including death"The death and deformity caused by male circumcision in Africa can't be ignored". 25 August 2014. Retrieved 13 March 2015.

As already described, circumcision removes the part of the penis most richly supplied with sensory nerve endings, the ridged band. In general, the inner mucosal foreskin is more sensitive than the outer foreskin, which differs little from the shaft skin. This loss is borne out by the results shown by Sorrells et al. If we look at the figure showing fine-touch pressure thresholds, we notice that the lowest threshold is found at position 3, which is the dorsal preputial orifice rim, while the next lowest thresholds are found at 13 and 14, parts of the frenulum, and 4 and 5, which are the mucocutaneous junction and ridged band, respectively. In the circumcised penis, the lowest threshold is found at position 19, the ventral surface of the circumcision scar. Partial loss or Total loss of Penis & Other possible complications include buried penis, chordee, phimosis, skin bridges, urethral fistulas, and meatal stenosis.[65] Other possible complications include buried penis, chordee, phimosis, skin bridges, urethral fistulas, and meatal stenosis.[65] Krill, Aaron J.; Palmer, Lane S.; Palmer, Jeffrey S. Pain during Operation The circumcision procedure may carry the risks of heightened pain response for newborns and dissatisfaction with the result.[32] Perera CL, Bridgewater FH, Thavaneswaran P, Maddern GJ; Bridgewater; Thavaneswaran; Maddern (2010). "Safety and efficacy of nontherapeutic male circumcision: a systematic review". Annals of Family Medicine. 8 (1): 64–72.doi:10.1370/afm.1073. Pain After Operation NoCirc.org Pain: After your baby is circumcised — with or without an anesthetic — he will be in pain. Urine and feces in the wound add to his discomfort and distress. Some doctors prescribe post-operative pain medication, but it is not always effective and is never 100% effective. You can comfort your baby by holding him, nursing him frequently, sleeping with him, and being especially careful when changing his diapers.
