There are two key reasons:

1 - Short intact foreskins, making them longer
2 - Before the forum debacle there was a group of intact men who were supportive of those restoring and offering support and answering questions.

Re point #2:

To be accurate, there was one member on the old forum who claimed being intact, and who had an irritating (and incessantly phony sounding) "rub your face in it" agenda, perhaps based in anger over an actual circ he didn't want to face in public. So I understand questioning the intent of some posts (and I personally have other reasons for doing so).

Posts which are off center to the general intent of this forum don't necessarily ring true without additional information, so I can see why Mitchell asked his question. While the OP here could easily be sincere, it would be helpful to the rest of us if he states why he asks about intact guys not posting here. In other words, let's get to know everybody on this new forum. That would be the polite, informative, inclusive way to do it. Having said that, intact guys can add some important information, so they are always welcome.

I was a member of the old forum and remember the intact section. I still am intact and was trying to lengthen my foreskin for quite some time. After a while of not being in the forum I returned to find everything has changed. I fully support restoring and am completely against RIC.
I have no intentions of "rubbing anyone's face in anything". I have an interest for intactivism and am always looking for a way to get more involved.

I don't necessarily appreciate people questioning my intentions or reasoning why I'm here. I'm here to be supportive, share my experiences and be helpful in anyway possible. I'm also here to hear other people's experiences and stories.

LBCO, I was intact for 32 years and I know the difference first hand. If I had the resources to research circumcision back then I never would have done it. So, even though I am cut now, I know exactly what it was like to be intact.

Do you mind my asking why you are no longer intact. I think there is valuable information in hearing from those who grew up intact and for whatever reason circumcised as adults. It's a perspective that we don't often enough get.

LBCO, I got cut because my GF at the time talked me into it and the fucking doctor who did it didn't tell me about any of the downsides to being cut (probably because he was cut as an infant, wasn't taught about the 16 functions of the foreskin and truly didn't know) and he didn't even try to talk me out of it. That was 18 years ago and back then I didn't even have a computer and the the internet was no where near what it is today, so I couldn't really research the issue . Basically, I was under her spell and blinded by pussy. I had absolutely no problems or issues with my foreskin ever. When you're intact you don't think about different parts of your penis and where the sensations come from, it's all just penis. If I was able to learn the truth about this back then, I would never have done it. In the end I lost my foreskin and my GF over it. If I had said NO, I'd at least still have my foreskin. This betrayal fucked me up for a long time and only once I had discovered restoration was I again able to even think about seeing women again. The woman I am with now is so awesome and completely accepts me for who and what I am.

I understand how you feel about being questioned; it kind of singled you out of the crowd. But the forum as a whole (a much smaller "whole" than the last forum so far :)) has a bit of a "once bitten, twice shy" thing in the distance, and a bit of shoulder-hunch currently, waiting for it to return because it will probably happen sooner or later. The answer to your question, far as I know, is that there aren't many intact guys here because this is a new forum and not enough time has happened for intact guys to join. You may be our first.

And if you notice, you've explained why you asked your question, which helps us a lot, so thanks for that. We aren't intact, so there is a line between us in that regard; nothing can be done about that, it's just there, but we can certainly welcome you, and we may have questions for you about your situation. In other words, we can learn from you. Most of us share the interests you listed, so we certainly have that in common, and that's better than good. Sounds like parsecskin has the best personal view on how to answer some of your questions if you have any, (other than the one you asked) so he's probably your best bet until another intact/lengthening guy joins (if there aren't some already).

And re the Spanish Inquisition: the real one, and the much better Monty Python stage-based one, are all probably intact, so they might be some help too, LOL.

I'm sorry to hear that you got such pressure and crap from both your girlfriend and doctor. Adding to the fact that things were functioning without issue, this is where I see sharing our experiences and knowledge is crucial. I'm glad you were able to find a partner to be understanding and good to you. I am also glad that you were able to find out about restoring. I'm sure its no replacement but, I can imagine it being a tremendous help.

I can understand being a bit standoffish but, questioning someone's intent like that is certainly not winning any allies, afterall I think even being in the forum as a guest puts a certain level vulnerability into play.

The differences from the old forum to the new are quite noticeable. I think it will take some time getting used to. And hopefully more people all together join. I hope my putting my self out there a bit encourages others to do so aswell.

I have no problem explaining things, I just thought it was a bit obvious since there were no posts in the section. There are differences but, I hope that working together we can soon put the practice of circumcision in the past.

Andrew9652 That does sound like an unusual procedure, If you don't mind it would be a good idea to make a new post detailing your condition with pictures for reference if you don't mind? If only more doctors preformed this type of "circumcision" then the child would be able to keep all of his foreskin and his backward ass parents would be satisfied and the foreskin could be regrown later if the child wishes to. I still don't support RIC by the way i'm just saying in a parallel universe......
