  • Foregen Newsletter 15th July 2017

Hey, our latest newsletter was just released. This was started to bring our followers news and updates. Please check it out below:

    Dear Foregen Supporters,

For those that didn’t know we were at pride fest 25th June in New York. We met a lot of lovely people, and had the chance to talk to them about Foregen and the work we are doing. Hopefully some you are reading this newsletter right now! Overall, we felt the event was very successful. You should check out Robert, our Events director, description here. The following are important updates and upcoming events:

•Building from our successful event at Pride Fest Robert, our Events Director, is planning more. Our next event will feature free merchandise. His focus will be on the US regions of the North-East, California and Texas. Our next event will most likely be Dallas Pride Fest on September 16th 2017. If you would like to volunteer for this event please contact Robert at robert@foregen.org. We appreciate any help we receive.

•A while back we asked our supporters to tell us why they are supporting Foregen. We would really like to hear your story too. Please send us your stories, and optionally your first name and age. Don’t worry, we won’t share your email with anyone, but we will feature your story on our social media accounts and newsletter. You can send you stories to jay@foregen.org, or post them in the thread below.

•We closed the month of June with donations total of $9,756, which is a record. Hopefully we will pass $10,000 in one month soon! If you like our work and would like to make a donation please head over to our site and click contribute.

•Julian and Matt are our new External Forum Liaison’s. Their role is to spread the news of Foregen to restoration and pro-intact forums. They will answer questions and communicate why Foregen’s work is so important.

•We are currently planning a podcast series where we will guest speakers. We would like someone that is tech savvy with experience voice recording and editing videos and recordings. We would also like someone with journalist experience, such as writing for a student newspaper and would be comfortable interviewing people. If you fit either of these two please contact our editor at jay@foregen.org

•The experiments for June have been finished and will publish them by the end of July. This is an important step for Foregen.

•We may also be sending out an additional newsletter where we provide a breakdown of recent news articles on circumcision, intactivism and regenerative medicine. We would like to keep you well informed and entertained with some light reading.

We are grateful for the support and receptiveness that the LGBT community has shown toward Foregen. For that we say thanks.

    Best,
    The Foregen Team

So, 6 bullet points. If you know how the items on a memo are listed, you know that as you go down the page the points decrease in specificity. Foregen didn't disappoint with this. The 5th point is about "experiments", and couldn't be less specific. Aren't "experiments" of primary interest to the guys donating money? Wouldn't Foregen want to saying something about what those experiments might be? Could it be those "experiments" failed? Were there experiments? Can't prove it by what was said in the above post.

They call whatever those "experiments" are, "important". If that was true, why not at least put it closer to the top, and give some idea of where the money went. And "results", whatever that means, were supposed to be "published", whatever that means, recently. Published where? They didn't say. Far as I can tell nothing was published, but maybe you have to pay for that.

There is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, professional about their site presentation, the language that they use, and their claims. Makes ya wonder, doesn't it?
