  • Man Hood

    Hi

Does anyone have any experience with these sleeves?
ManHood is a foreskin substitute for circumcised men and a foreskin restoration retainer. 24-hour protection to improve sex and increase penis sensitivity.

Wondering what people's thoughts are... how do they compare with the TLC Your Skin Cone?
I've not quite got enough slack to make use of the cone yet, but these sleeves look quite interesting.

I've seen comments elsewhere on the Internet that people do like the ManHood "Restorer" version. I don't really get the "original" manhood though - it doesn't promote skin growth or retention of the skin you do have, so what's the point? I use a Your Skin Cone for retention, personally. Stays on overnight through erections for me.

I recently ordered a couple of these, and the owner threw in a restoration version as well. I really like them...I've tried many times to use the YSC as a retainer, but only had minimal success getting it to stay on (maybe when I have more slack skin this won't be an issue). The restoration manhood does do a decent job of holding the skin forward, so I try to use that one when possible. The regular version doesn't really do that, but it's very comfortable to wear. And I've had absolutely no problems wearing them overnight, even with nocturnal erections...the material is stretchy, so it stays on even when you're completely hard.

An update on this - I've actually been using the YSC with the Manhood, and it works great. I don't yet have enough skin for the restoration Manhood to keep it rolled forward consistently (when I take it off, my glans is usually only half covered), so I slip on the YSC and put the Manhood on over it. Since it's got that stretchy material, it holds the YSC in place, while the cone holds my skin all the way over my head. It's a tad bulkier, but not enough to be noticeable. I've worn it this way for hours during the day, and even been using both like this overnight.

Also, I've been keeping everything retained when not tugging - either manually, or with the TLC-X - as close to 24/7 as possible for the last three weeks or so. I don't know if it's from the constant warmth of being continuously covered, but I swear that my inner skin and glans are becoming a pinkish color. Exciting stuff And there's definitely more sensitivity.

For me, avoiding daily chafing and chronic discomfort due to being circumcised was my reason for purchasing ManHood back in 2010 when I was 24, and interestingly it was from that website that I learnt about foreskin restoration and found Ron's site.

Whenever I'm not tugging with my TLC-X, I'm definitely wearing my ManHood. I find that now that I have sufficient slack to (manually) cover my glans when flaccid, the ManHood helps keep coverage. The "restorer" version is made from a fabric which grips better for this purpose, so I prefer it. I've found the normal, silky fabric type slips off more easily which is a bit annoying.

I've not had much success with the TLC Your Skin Cone, but in fairness I haven't persevered either, since I've found the ManHood convenient for retaining and providing comfort. They last well too, I still use a couple that are around 3 years old but they're now needing replacement.

Considering ordering a restoration one for retaining but I'm a bit skeptical as to how well it'll hold my slack skin in place..
I'm worried the ManHood won't have the same enclosing affect I'm able to get with the rubber-thingy I've been using but it's lightweight design is majorly appealing.
Also, has anyone noticed any significant sensitivity gains from using it? They claim you'll feel results after 30 days on their site.

              Update:

So, I decided to try out a Manhood. And.. I'm very pleased with it! It is very comfortable, and the de-keratinization is very pleasing. Although i wonder if that is responsible for my skin sticking to the tlx-x silicone. It can sometimes be difficult to remove. I need to take it slow, almost like peeling off some tape. Maybe that happens anyway... anyone?

I find it slightly awkward to ensure as much skin on the right hand side gets held in place as the left, because of the design of the sleeve. I often notice when I remove the Manhood that there is more skin sitting in place on the left side. I don't know if there's a recommended technique for putting the Manhood Restorer in place?

Anyway. All in all I'm very pleased. I have definitely noticed increased sensitivity since wearing it.

Thanks for all the contributions to this thread.

I am returning to restoring after several years and just purchased 2 ManHoods. Thanks for the posts. They helped me decide to purchase them. I'll let you know how they work out for me.

I just bought two to try them out. After adding in a note that my circumference at the base was 4" but that my circumference when hard was 6" I received a message along with the conformation of the order saying that the ones I ordered may be tight so he was throwing in another slightly larger one just in case. That was a very generous gesture and it appears that he has treated others with similar generosity according to the testimonials. That's a great way to build a solid customer base for return business.

I'll keep you posted on my experiences with the ManHood as time goes by. I like the concept, but I'm not so sure they will stay on. I'll see.

I have been restoring since mid Feb. I have been happy with results of restoring on my glans for sure. It's to bad I couldn't get my skin to grow faster but that's why I thought I would ask if anyone could give me advice on what to buy when its impossible to tug or have the skin cone on. I am looking into this Man hood and also the senslip. I want to wear something for times in a hot tub and other times that it's just impossible to have my tlc x on or skin cone bc it would slip off. What do you all think I should buy for cases like I am in?

Foreskin restoration is much more than just regaining physical pleasure .Having a foreskin protects the glans and can enhance all sexual activity.

Buy a few O rings and try them out, they are perfect for retaining.

I purchased too many of these in different sizes and was always disappointed. Falling off, too tight, velcro pinching or poking. They are way overpriced and weren't for me.
Started CI-0 with no movable skin and 0% FEC

Currently at CI-4 with 64% FEC

Im also using them. I like them a lot. I wear them all the time while not using the TLC-X. They fit perfectly and helped me to get a much softer glans than before. They are holding my remaining foreskin over the glans while wearing them, and when i take them off, there is still at least 50% of the glans covered. Im using the newer versions in many different designs. I like those crocodile manhoods in pink and blue the most. They are pretty stylish!
