I'm considering one and would love to hear a bit more feedback!
I have bought a couple of times and just purchased the 3D printed version. The first time I got the flesh color retainer and "bulge". The old way of threading the bulge didn't work well and the screw piece came off. I only use with the bulge piece when working out to help keep the retainer on. The second ones I bought recently, both black and I got one with the fren notch. This is my new favorite and I wear it all the time I don't have DTR on. After wearing about 4-5 months I noticed changes in my glans and now after a year I see much healthier skin. I'm only CI3 so I have a ways to go to get skin/skin coverage but I love the increased sensitivity I've achieved by keeping covered, plus extra motivation to complete this long process. I have only peed through the device a few times (it's super easy to quickly and discretely remove and replace even at a urinal). You can shack out most but not all of the pee. I clean my every day in the shower or in the sink and let air dry. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Oh, the bulge is just more or less for appearance purposes if used without the weights (I don't have the weights). It looks more like the glans when it's screwed on. Like I said I really only use it when working out as it seems to help the retainer stay on when I get sweaty cycling. Hope this helps.

I purchased the 3D printed version of stealth retainer in black because I didn’t want to spend that much on the stainless steel version. I also purchased a full compliment of their weight set also in black. Since weights are only available in stainless or black, I figured why spend the extra five or ten bucks for a flesh tone color if it’s going to be a different color from the weight set. Anyway, I find that there are two bulge tips needed if one is to purchase just the retainer as well as the weight set along with different length screws to match the different weight sizes. However, if you just buy the retainer by itself, that bulge tip comes with a shorter screw that is permanently attached to the inside of the bulge tip. (while the others may be removed and substituted for varying sizes/lengths). Basically the retainers is applied with a similar ‘gripper’ to what I’ve seen on the dtr. That can stay on all day. Whenever urination takes place, simply unscrew the lightweight bulge tip, and urinate through the hole, then after a vigorous shake inside a bathroom stall, a bit of tp can be used to dab up the droplets, then reapply or screw on the bulge tip. I take mine off once a day when I shower and rinse/wash it out thoroughly then let dry. There will most likely be droplets of urine even after the most vigorous of ‘shakes’, but cest la vie. Like the man in the WH says...’it is what it is’. Overall I am very pleased with this device. It does retain during rigorous activities, stays put and rarely comes loose. At my age...56, not all my pee streams are as strong and forceful as they once were, so unfortunately I mostly end up dabbing it dry with tp when I’m done as everything slowly peters out. (No pun intended) But someone with a strong pee stream may have a different experience. Hope this helps.

Also...how long did it take for your glans to become dekeratinized.

RestoringNow-I sent you a private message because I wasn’t able to post at the end of this thread. As it turned out...I think I may not have been logged in as a member. Anyway, I also purchased a stealth retainer and really like it a lot. Since you stated that your glans have resumed their natural appearance...smooth, moist and more sensitive, I’m wondering whether you had achieved this status by covering it with a retainer or as some other restorers feel...glans should be covered by skin (not retainers) in order to achieve this result.

See my gallery, I was making retainers out of bandaids and a hole punch for a long time. Even cross taping. Use thicker tape, punch a hole. Problem solved for the most part.

OK, I finally peed throught the device to test before heading out on a business trip in a suit and didn't want to make a mess. It worked well, needed to dry it off with TP and shake the pee out but it was easy. The edges don't hurt or annoy my skin. I have been restoring for just over a year, I was a very tight C1, no slack at all, consider myself a C2 now and have grown about half an inch of new skin. I use the silicon pieces with my DTR and it makes it where I can wear it all day. The Stealth is much smaller and not nearly as noticable in your pants. I slept with it on the other night which I never do with my DTR and didn't have any issues. The bell is smaller and you have to measure with a string (instructions on their website) and the smaller bell set up makes me forget its there. I don't feel it and it keeps me well covered. I have stayed covered all day for the past year and have gained now have a shiny glans that has regained a ton of sensitivity, keeping it covered is a must. Only time I'm not covered is when I sleep, and I sleep naked for it to get some recovery.

FYI, I have no association with the Stealth Retainer folks, I just found out about them from this site. If anyone has quesitons, feel free to ask. I have only had this a couple days but I like it.

Thanks for clearing this up. I guess it has some success, although I am skeptical of it's effectiveness. It makes sense producing phimosis, allowing the erection to do the work. I am waiting on progress pics for a user who has claimed to exclusively use ORINGS as a method.

Retaining isn't useless at all. Over time, it will help the glans and inner foreskin to regain sensitivity before any permanent coverage is achieved. I've done this for most times of the day when I wasn't tugging, and it's made a huge difference.

O-rings have been used as a restoration device for many years now. While a single ring can put enough tension on the skin for those who are cut tightly, adding multiple o-rings becomes necessary as more skin is grown. You can put a sort of stopper in the end to keep them from falling off, as shown in this photo:
