  • Default forum thread listing should be by latest reply

The forum software seems to be defaulting to a view that will sort and showing threads with the most replies first. That's kind of weird - most forum software defaults to showing the thread with the latest reply first. I can change the filter view once in each forum, but it's not saving my preferences.

I am on a tear here.

That "sort by replies" was supposed to affect Progress Galleries only. I screwed something up and will fix. Thanks.

At the vB support forum a guy says: "Use sitebuilder. When saving and prompted to overwrite template, select No and specify a new template name."
I'll try this to affect the Progress Galleries only.

Threads in forums are still organized by the number of replies for me - except for the progress galleries, where they are organized by last update.

Thanks. 100% opposite of intended effect.

Still working on this. I need to revert all the channels to the default sort and then affect only the desired sections, but the vBulletin Support forum has been down today so I can't ask how to undo (without having to reset each forum section).
