Hi all,
I am 33 years old, cut since birth and am around a CI-2 currently. I have been restoring intermittently over the past three years using both the TLC Tugger and manual and tape methods. I have made some small progress but not significant progress due to my historic lack of full commitment to the restoration project. I have been restoring in a more dedicated and consistent manner over the past month primarily using the TLC Tugger (I have also ordered a DTR but it hasn't arrived yet). The strap that comes with the TLC works well but I am disappointed with the safety pin that is used to secure the "leg" end (the non-tugging end). Have you run into difficulties with this safety pin and do you use anything other than the safety pin to secure the TLC?
Secondly, does anyone have experience with Strapworks, a company that sells a wide variety of straps? (https://www.strapworks.com/default.asp) . I am considering experimenting with using these straps instead of the default TLC strap and wanted to check in to see if anyone had experience with this company before ordering a few to try. Thanks much.
Sorry if this repeats other discussions in this forum; I looked briefly but didn't find anything.
Happy tugging!
