  • Anyone try the TLC Shocker?

    After a ~5 year break, I'm back in to restoration. Been using my TLC tugger with an elastic around my waist. Want to try the TLC Shocker, but I'm concerned about the 'adjuster'. It's mechanism that you see everywhere (backpacks, shoes, etc.) and I always find them to not provide a solid hold.

    Anyone try this thing yet? Will it last or will it fail after a month's usage?

    Thanks!

    Our straps have a 3-month warranty.

    The adjustor for the Shockers is very robust, and it's NOT like others. Ours have "teeth."

    Ours are TOOTHY:

    Others are toothless:

      So I received my order last week, it came quickly. Very neatly packaged, very much appreciated.

      I've had a few nights with this thing and I have to say that it's great! Last night I had the TLC shocker + TLC tugger on for roughly 7 hours while I slept. I had it on 'gentle tugging mode' which I will never exceed. It was so much more comfortable than having the suspender straps (gave up on those long ago).

      The adjusters are working well, nothing to complain about. I did order a few extras, just in case.

      This is a great addition to anyone's tugging routine. Highly recommend!‚Äč

        Are the TOOTHY ones available on Amazon?

          I've added our toothy cord locks as a SKU at TLC Tugger: https://tlctugger.com/product/cord-locks-2/ {https://tlctugger.com/product/cord-locks-2/}
