  • How to grab skin farther down the inner cone

TLC Tugger user here for quite some time. I have always placed my outer skin to the very top of the inner cone and then put the outer cone on before tugging. Once in a great while I can have the outer skin go lower on the inner cone and have the outer grab it good enough to stay on. Any suggestions on how to be able to do this lower on the cone thing? Smaller outer cone maybe? I ti s like it is not built to use it that way.
My reason is I like the results I get pulling farther to the end of the tube...thanks

Are you using a standard or X model?

I have both and have noticed that the X model does grip the skin quite a bit more towards the end. Also,it's much easier to get the skin laid out thinner and flatter with the X model because of the inner pusher . This feature alone will allow you to have less skin bunched up under the retaining cone which translates into more outer skin under tension. I would suggest getting an X model.

After you apply the retaining cone you can flare the wide end of the retaining cone to let some skin slip out and even up any wrinkling of the skin. This will also cause the gripped skin to experience some tension.
