  • Pinching problem

Hi. I use the TLC Tugger, and overall I'm happy with it and have made some progress with it. But ever since I started using it, usually after about two hours part of my foreskin starts getting pinched. It's not always the same spot, just where ever the skin is bunched up the most inside the cone I guess. Soon after I started using the tugger I reduced it to minimum tension because I thought maybe I was using too much tension, and I've kept it at pretty low tension. But it still happens, I don't think the problem is caused by too much tension. I would wear the tugger longer without this problem. Does anyone have any advice about this? Thanks.

Are you using the standard one or the X model?

      I'm using the standard one.

Well, with either, make sure you get your skin as high up on the tugger body as possible and hold it there with an OK sign type grip. Prior to doing this take the reataining cone and fold it back on itself half way and find something to stick it in to hold it that way. A pill tube works great. To apply the retaining cone pick it up out of the pill tube with one hand using your finger tips spaced evenly around it and lower it into position, then remove the hand holding your skin and flip the sides down all in one quick motion. This will allow you to trap more skin than you need in the device. Now you just need to even up the skin all the way around. Get it as flat and even as possible. The X model is easier to get the skin evened up because you can actually flatten out the skin inside the device with the pusher. Some of the standard tuggers have the same handle as the X model and you can use a rubber grommet to keep the cone from slipping off. See pics. This works very well.

Thanks Parsecskin, it sounds like that should work. I've probably been allowing the skin to get folded over on itself too much.

Yeah, most likely. As you gain skin the device will become easier to apply and more comfortable. How much inner skin did they leave you with? what CI level are you at?

I'm at about CI 5. I saw somewhere that the proper way to apply the tugger is by pushing the skin up over the glans, I was both pushing and then pulling the skin. So now I'm strictly just pushing the skin, and I don't know why but I don't get pinched anymore. This still allows me to put a lot of skin in the cone, which I like because I want to pull the skin from farther down and not stretch out the skin towards the end of the penis as much, to keep the original density of nerve endings on the penis as much as I can.

I have about three quarters of an inch of inner skin (not including the glans). I think most of the restoration has been the outter skin. I'm thinking of trying the air method with a balloon to get the inner skin to grow more, I'm not sure whether I've restored enough to be able to use that method yet.

A dual tension device will work the inner skin and outer.

I thought most devices mainly stretched the outter skin. I'll look into the dual tension devices again, thanks.

Dual tension devices actuall work the inner skin best. With a dual tension device, you need an external tugging strap to target outer as well.
