  • New User inquiry on existing skin

    Hey all,

    Been wanting to restore for years and finally started. I just got my TLC-X and plan on starting off without straps, just the tugger. Mostly, to get used to the device.

    I have a couple questions already, some of which have nothing to do with the device. Any feedback is appreciated.

    1. Over the last week or so, I have been manually tugging...not necessarily using any of the prescribed methods, mostly to explore what I had to work with. I've noticed that I can fairly easily roll skin on the left of my penis (looking down), but less so in the right. My circ scar seems fairly even, however there is just less skin on the right to work with. This appears to cause issues in getting an even fit/placement of the cone. Is this common? Any tips?

    2. The underside of my penis near the corona, I think where my frenulum once was, has a bit of scar tissue. As such the skin is fairly thick compared to the rest of my shaft skin. I can get a decent fit with the tugger once I place the cone down, but upon straightening out wrinkles and making the skin smooth, the underside always falls out (like it's too thick). Any hints or tips to deal with this?

    That's all for now...Thanks all!

    Child circumcision is very haphazard. So yes, sadly it is common to have asymmetry in the surviving slack. If it was me I'd use every trip to the toilet to manually tug on the short side for a minute or two.

    For best grip start with a freshly washed device and skin. When I'm out somewhere and I can't wash before re-applying, I at least take a wet paper towel into a stall and wipe my device and skin. Roll skin up to cover as much of the white tugger body as your comfortably can, to grip a wide area of skin. Work the skin up and down a bit to even out avoidable wrinkles before applying the retaining cone. Add GENTLE tension in accord with the 4-Hour Rule http://tlctugger.com/4-hour-rule/. The ideal setting can be so loose you might forget you're wearing it. Let me know at which of these steps things first go wrong.

      1. Common;

      2. Difficult to know if this is scar tissue, or part of your frenulum nub, or a feature of your raphe, or a combination of two or more of these. As Ron mentions, use manual for awhile, see where that goes before you use your device. You won't grow much in the way of noticeable tissue but temporary stretch may help in this situation.

        I have more foreskin (including the frenulum) below my glans and less skin above it. I assume this was due to the way the circumcision bell was placed on my penis -- slightly beyond the frenulum (in order to preserve it) below the glans which moved the cut slightly higher above the glans.
