Hi everyone,
Just wanted to report in that at 4 months later starting right before Xmas last year (only missing a couple weeks of time in that period), I've progressed quite nicely in my restoration progress. The time I missed was not due to lack of effort, but international business trips where I could only really restore on occasion at night while sleeping. All times while not wearing the device, I've retained 100% faithfully the entire time.
I've progressed from what I feel my original size was a CI-2.5 (thought I was a 3 at first, but I realized I wasn't fully a 3) to now a CI-3.5 (RCI-4). I'd say in that period of time I'm making good progress. I have occasional rollover, but for the vast majority of time it is extremely bunched up behind the corona. Would you guys say this is acceptable progress for the period of time? My goal is CI-8.
Some stats:
TLC-X with long push rod and spacers. Currently using 15mm (12+3mm) spacer discs with the long push rod all the way pushed down or almost pushed down (~3mm above the metal part of the cone).
The reason for the big spacer discs is my flaccid size can vary between 5-5.5 inches and my erect size is 7.25 inches. I've found that I have to add roughly an extra 3mm spacer now every month or less to accommodate the new skin growth. I'm not doing measurements and only judging progress from rest state and FEC (FEC is about 98% and I started at 40%). I can only assume that this is decent progress. I'm a little behind in my stretching from a business trip this past month for a couple weeks, so I'll likely need an additional 2 more weeks in my stretching before I can add another 3mm.
Now for some questions to the community:
1) From my large amount of reading on this forum and many other areas online, I have not heard much about how long it takes for someone to grow skin that's quite large in actual size. I can only assume that it will take me probably longer with what I'm working with than those that are growers and not showers. This is fine by me, but I was only curious to know if anyone else is in a similar situation as I am with the amount of skin they need to grow for full coverage.
2) I'm currently at the point where I have enough skin which is heavily bunching behind the head (as stated), but at a vast majority of the time, it kinda is half over the bottom edge of the corona, but won't go fully over. After retaining all night and in the morning, the skin (when the retain cone is removed) kinda hangs halfway across the head before very slowly rolling back to the rest state. I'd say, and this is my opinion, that eventually it will just slowly make its way over the corona a little at a time instead of one day having a jump where it becomes pinned. Is this a correct assumption?
3) As I'm using the long push rod to the fullest extent without any pain or discomfort, I wonder if I might need a longer rod at some point during my restoration. Is anyone experiencing this? Or doesn't it matter as long as I keep adding spacer discs?
Anyway, that's all for now. Just curious to know exactly what everyone's thought are. Sorry if this turned into a "is this good?" post, but honestly, I'm just curious to find out some thoughts. Thanks guys!
