I disagree Ron. Some minor edema isn't a big deal as long as it disappears within 15-20 minutes after rmoving your device.. If its much longer, then yes it is a problem.

It's not a good thing. It is probably pockets of fluid build-up right at the zone of skin where it was folded over in the retaining cone. Edema is what it's called. When exotic pressures are induced, fluid can migrate through cell walls to temporarily create puffy cells, and fluid between cells.

I'd say for a while maybe be less fixated on wrinkles, in hopes that the location of the wrinkling will vary enough so that things even out overall. That would mean being prepared to re-apply more often.

When the application process seems to have permanently shifted it may be because you have more slack skin available to wrap around the device. Users of the TLC-X / TLC Selects combo http://tlctugger.com/product/tlc-x-e...le-tugger-kit/ can experiment with alternate starting device lengths to see if the skin lays out more evenly with a different length. Even without TLC Selects, we can probably PRE-extend the Pusher by up to 1/4" and apply the device.

    Wrinkles never end

    Hi Tuggers,

I have been having a problem. I've been tugging on and off for about 3 years. I have recently been taking it serious now that I am in a position where I can tug at work regularly. Since the weather has changed I have noticed the diameter of my unit has stayed larger and is not wrapping around the tapered side of the cone anymore, like it did when it was colder out. Now when I try to apply my TLC X it always get wrinkle down at the bottom and it eventually slides down to the fatter side of the cone. Can anybody give me advice? I have been struggling to see any results lately. I've been using isopropyl alcohol to clean the device. I have been using the alcohol pads to clean when I use the bathroom at work, but I'll get some slippage every now and then and have to go light on tension.
Working...
