  • Anyone fully restored using only/primarily the TLC-X?

    I purchased my first TLC-X as a freshman in college back in 2014. I didn't know much about restoration, and didn't put forth the effort to learn at the time. I ended up barely wearing it.

    In 2021 I finally researched and learned you're supposed to tug for 8-11 hours per day to see any decent results. Since restarting in 2021, I'm officially roughly a CI4.5 I'd say. I don't use any other methods other than my TLC-X and the occasional brief manual tug, which I can't imagine helps as I do it so infrequently. I also always put a dab of Laroche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 in the plunger before use.

    My question here is whether or not anyone has fully restored using only (or primarily) a TLC-X? If so, what was your routine like and how long did it take you?

    I'm hoping I'll be fully covered while flaccid by the end of 2024, but preferably sooner lol!

    I had to start with taping because of how severely tightly I was circumcised at birth. (I started at age 14) The bulk has been TLC and TLC-X.

    I wore mine to bed using the suspender strap over my shoulder for when I had a night time erection. This worked well. If I woke up in the night I simply took it off and started the next day.

    I also wore this to high school with my penis going to the left one day and the right another day (with a safety pin to prevent it from dropping down and the TLC X gear becoming visible. I had to use some cloth padding to prevent my penis from becoming sore.

      I only made the TLC-X starting a few months before I was done with tugging. But I did get a chance to wear it daily to a 9-5 workplace for a while.

      Changes to the TLC-X since the original version:
      - Collet as an alternative to the Collar and Set Screw to enact fixed Pusher displacement
      - Smoother shinier surface for the Tugger Body and Retaining Cone
      - 7 discrete sizes available
      - Conical Springs: so they can be fully compressed during application
      - Tugging Handle has a notch to eliminate interference between the handle and the Pushing rod, so rod can slide more freely
      - Tugging Handle has "shoulders" to hook rubber bands under.
      - TLC Selects spacers allow fine-tuning of device length
      - Available airtight version of body, Pusher, and rod allows inflation mode
      - Softer Silicone for Pusher
      - Collar is symmetrical with two holes, so it serves as a movable rubber band attachment point

        Are you using the TLC-X all by itself? No straps or weights? I remember Ron himself saying that TLC-X all by itself will not produce results. Something about “no such thing as a free lunch.”

          What I conclude is that to get comparable results with a strapless / weightless regimen, one should follow the same 4-Hour Rule http://TLCTugger.com/4-hour-rule/ protocol for fine-tuning the amount of tension, but make it a 2-hour rule, meaning you re-apply twice as often.
