So no matter what i do i can't seem to get the cone to stay in place while tugging. If i tug while standing the dorsal side of my skin will slowly slide out while the ventral side will stay in place. If i am tugging in bed the ventral side will slowly slide out while the dorsal side stays in place. I've been cleaning my device like crazy with 70% alcohol, bleach, soap you name it. Nothing seems to help it stay in place. I even went and purchased adhesi-med and that didn't do much of anything besides make a mess and scream in pain every time it touches the mucus membrane of your penis. So im out of ideas idk if i should try and get a smaller cone or what.. I measure 33mm for my glands while flaccid and i thought at first maybe i purchased the wrong size cone. So i purchased 30mm and it seemed to have helped but im still having the same issues. Should i go to the smallest one available at 28? i just don't know what to do anymore.

Try this: Prior to installing the retaining cone, fold it back on itself half way and find something to stick it in and hold it there while you get the device situated. I use a 35mm film can or a pill tube.
When you get your skin up on the device as high as possible hold it there with an "OK" sign type of grip. Next, pick up the retaining cone with your finger tips and lower it into position (This will take some practice, but it's not too bad). Then in one fluid, quick motion remove your gripping hand and flip the sides of the retaining cone down. This will give you the extra time to trap more skin. Now even up the skin all the way around and tug! You may also try this grommet idea I devised. See pics. It works great. Get one at the hardware store.

Believe it or not i was already doing this. I saw you post this under someone elses topic so i decided to give it a try. It does work! It still ends up coming loose though. Since posting this i was messing around with the cone and the device and it seems like the cone is bigger than the device itself and im able to woble it around quite a bit until its farther down. (hard to explain) im going to try and purchase a smaller cone and see if that works.

I had problems and took time in the first week applying the tlc x every time. You'll get better at it and develop tricks to using your tlc x.

It's good you found a solution. But perhaps you have an uneven circumcision? I have one but not a very extream so I make the longer side more bunched up so the shorter one won't fall away from the tlc x body.

        KOT!

One thing guys who need to maximize the gripping from their available slack can do is add AdhesiMed http://tlctugger.com/product/adhesimed/.

i did purchase that and it does make the cone stick to my skin a lot better the only problem is it slowly slides off and after about maybe 15-30 mins one side is pulled way down compared to the other. ive noticed my cone has a lot of wiggle room compared to the tugger body so i wonder if thats it? i feel like it just slowly wiggles its way out. Its very frustrating

so i was applying the adhesive incorrectly. You must wait two minutes after applying it to the device (in my case anyway) so it does not burn. today i didnt have any slipping at all and when i did it was very minor and my fault for not making sure all of the skin was lined up properly

Well yeah! You gotta let the solvent evaporate. Acetone I think. Not good for mucous membranes.

i didn't know that. when you purchase the adhesive it says you can go to a website that will be listed on the product for instructions on how to use it. The site listed doesn't even work anymore.

there is no acetone in Adhesi-med. There is ethyl acetate, which incidentally is also used to decaffeinate coffee and is present in wine (not that I would drink it straight.) The ethyl acetate quickly evaporates so people with very sensitive skin just need to wait a minute for the adhesive to dry leaving behind the tacky silicone base.
