  • Just Starting have some questions

    Good afternoon,

Im 30 and just starting my restoration process and had some questions as i'm looking through the forums here trying to get a handle on it all. Let me start by saying that I'm using the TLC X tugger and I'm starting today with it. I have a FEC of 50% starting off which I think is a good thing. So my questions are as follows hope you can help.

    1. When/how/ do i need to determine my FFRP?

    2. What is this I keep seeing people posting about Cl 3 and other numbers, I've been searching but can not find it on the forums.

    3. Do you have any tips for someone just starting out that you wish you had known in the beginning?

I want to thank the community in advance for your help.

You may find the "coverage index" here. There are various photos of the penis and foreskin so there is a standard to discuss where one is at in their foreskin restoration journey.

When I started I was at "CI 0". Nothing. Each erection was so painful.

I am at "CI 9" now. I have gone in stages. What I mean is my initial goal was "CI 5". After a few years I wanted a bit more. I stopped at "CI 7". A few more years passed. I am now aiming for "CI 10".

I've found that the progress gets faster as there is more foreskin under pressure. Exponential growth. If you will treat this as the same task of brushing your teeth each day you will get there as fast as is possible for your body. It is a whole journey. I've been through a lot of anger over this.

            CI-0 to CI-5: 18 months.*
            CI-5 to CI-7: 1 year
            CI-7 to CI-9: 3 years **

            * I started restoring my foreskin when I was 14 years old. I tugged 24 / 7 (literally). Also my penis was still growing. My foreskin naturally grew to "CI 5" as a result of puberty pushing on the amount of foreskin I had already grown.

** When I was was masturbating with my foreskin forward I overstressed my circumcision incision scar and it tore open. (Medical term debridement) It took about 18 months to end it from re-bleeding. My family doctor had me apply Vaseline to it. This caused this to heal inside out. There is almost no evidence that I was ever circumcised. The process has been slow. But it is on track now.

Oh, don't call it exponential growth, lest you draw the rath of the Info-Nazi. The growth isn't truly exponential, but it IS at an increasing rate as you gain skin.

                    1. you don't. If it helps you gauge progress, use it, if not don't. What you would be wise to do is sort out some way of measuring or observing progress.

                    3. First, figure out how to measure progress. Could be as simple as observing coverage or even wrinkles, or movement. Second, figure out how to feel a given level of tension, so that you can use that tension every time you tug. Finally, experiment to find what level of tension gives you the best progress. And, work out how to fit this into your schedule so that it becomes automatic, like brushing your teeth.

                    Regards
