Does anyone else use homemade weights for tugging?

I've been using fender washers, eye bolts, and split rings to make weights in the range of 8 to 20 ounces.

These are attached to various devices tlc, tlcx, dtr or cat2

I use a weight made out of a lead-filled stainless steel salt cellar. Once poured and solid the lead is sealed in with aquarium sealer. There are pictures on my blog.

I've used a 35mm film canister filled with lead shot. Yields about 12 Oz. You just put a screw eye in the lid and glue it on. Sealed! Nice thing about lead is its compact. Depleted uranium is TWICE as heavy as lead. Too bad it's radioactive. Not something you want near you body, much less your junk.

I tried weights. I made them form lead fishing weights, that I coated with plastic dip for tool handles. I did not feel like they gave me the tension that I needed, as they would get somewhat trapped in my pants leg.

          Regards

I have been using weights for 9 months. It is an eye both with 35 oz of fender washers. It hooks to a homemade direct air device. I use it for about 35 minutes a day in the morning. Then I use a DTR dual tension the rest of the day. I am getting good results.

When using the TLC Tugger and Your Skin Cone, my main weight for the past several years has been a Kraken Rum liquor mini bottle, filled with water. It is made of a thick glass, so that gives it additional weight.

This particular bottle has handles on both sides, and I attatch it to either a TLC Tugger, or TLC Packer with a spring loaded key ring threaded through one of the two handles.

I find the amount of weight about right, but this weight is a bit too bulky, and I am thinking of ways to improve it.

Currently using tape/canister method attached to an elastic tugger band, but want to switch to weights. Want to be able to wear it under my clothes. I wear boxers exclusively. Any suggestions?

I wear mine under clothes all the time. Attached to different things like TLC, DTR, or CAT.
the shoestring and clip is a safety strap catch it when it slips off.

Found this weight in the fishing dept. @WM. 8oz . Works great. Not much swing with clothes on.

Yep, P.U.D. with 1L water bottle attached - provides a nice tug for advanced users but only in home use :-(

                            1 liter water = 1kg, = 2.2 pounds be careful and don't hurt yourself.

I made some close to that weight, but it was too heavy for regular use for me.

Correct definitely NOT for a beginner, however I'm long timer tugger, so I found my skin has some how inexplicably built up a resistance / tolerance especially over a decade of tugging and the old equation of Weight vs time ** within reason ** is very valid.
No way could I have done this early on that I can definitely tell you.
Small weight needs with longer attached time for a similar effect vs heavier weights for less attached time. * Also everyone is different so your miles may vary.

** If it's painful then stop immediately **, rest it, then after recovery try again with a lighted tug and or less time.
A slight skin burn sensation is the maximum you need, no more.
Listen to what your skin / penis is telling you and also remember to visually inspect that blood flow is not being cut off or skin tears which means you are totally over doing it and necessitate a skin holiday halting your restoration work.

I urge everyone to use commonsense - but as many people have told me over the years - commonsense is not very common.

PS - The grown skin has NOT thinned out as others have also concluded - at full restoration the skin will be thicker than the original one would be.
I have tried to thin mine out with heavier weights /shorter time towards the end - but this experiment is NOT thinning the skin as the skin has it's own set rules that it plays by.
