  • An Intact Guy Searching For Wisdom

Hello everyone! I am a 21 year old man who was never circumcised which i am thankful for, no surprise since i am from a part of the world where it's very uncommon (Northern Europe).
But why did i end up on a site like this you might ask? I have some concerns about my penis and more specifically my glans and was hoping that maybe one of you could share your knowledge with me.

All the way up until i was 19 years old i had the perfect glans. Shiny, smooth and healthy looking. And then i started to become very sexually active and also began doing PE (Penis Enlargement)... After keeping this up for a few months i one day looked down on my glans as i was masturbating and could see my first "crack" or "groove" on my glans. My glans had for the first time began to be a bit dry.

This freaked me out a bit since i before had always had a completely smooth and healthy looking skin on the glans. I started to ask in forums and googled and all and many people told me to apply coconut oil which i did, and also tried vitamin E oil, jojoba oil and baby oil and all these are GREAT for the moment but nothing seems to get my glans back to how it was before, and i just got more and more of these grooves running down the glans.

I went to the doctor and showed him, he said that it looked normal but prescribed me a fungus cream "just in case" which i tried for a week but did not help. And this last 1,5 year i've been using a lot of the creams, tried no masturbation or sex, tried going without any lube or anything and just keep it covered for many days straight but nothing seem to get my glans back to how it was.

Now to the next part of the story... These last few weeks i have stopped worrying about the grooves since i realized that when i am fully erect my glans fill up so much that it do look smooth and they seem like they even improved a bit, but now i have a NEW problem. The upper side of my glans - the same area i have/used to have the cracks is now RED. It's like a fine line of glans where the glans is red, rash looking and the underside by the frenulum is looking more purple/white ish and very healthy, the way my glans was before.

If it's possible i could provide pics or link porn videos of guys who has glans like how mine used to look and how it looks now, since i have found great examples.

    TL;DR

I am uncut, I had healthy looking glans before, the last 1,5 years they have been getting keratinized and also the upper area where the groves has formed is now red, where as the underside looks healthy as they did before with a purple colour and no groves.

Anyone has any idea of what to do? Could it be fungus, or did i injure my glans from PE? But it's only skin should it not have healed?

I am so extremely thankful for anyone who shares their opinion/thoughts, I know that this is not the end of the world and i don't mean to come of as rude but i am a bit concerned about how my glans are looking. Take care / Castus.

My best suggestion would be to return to your doctor, and give him/her an update. When doctors don't know what the problem is, the development or changing of symptoms can help them narrow it down. If there are any other symptoms not listed in your original post--itching, tingling, pain, etc.--then these would definitely be things to mention.

If you put up a picture of the rash, someone might recognize it, but without seeing it firsthand...no one can give you an accurate answer. Red rash on the skin is a symptom, or possible symptom, of about 20,000 diseases. It's just too common to really convey any worthwhile information, you know?

I probably wasn't much help, but I saw that no one had replied yet. I figured my uninformed opinion would hold you over til something better comes along.

Thank you for the response. I have booked a doctors appointment next week and hopefully have some tests done. Take care!
