Hello guys, thanks for having me, and I appreciate the help you guys provide. I am 30 years old and was circumcised only 5 years ago after suffering from untreated Phimosis my whole life. If anyone has an knowledge of this, it is an embarrassing and "limiting" ailment, and my lack of understanding and desperation lead me to get circumcised at age 25. The doctor was very quick to suggest circumcision and offered no alternatives. Thinking it would liberate me in some way, without telling anyone, I had it done, and even struggled through healing without anyone knowing. While I gained some comfort, I also gained a hideous scare and lost a lot of sensitivity. Going Phimosis, essentially constant covered glands to constant open glands, the sensitivity change was severe. Now, being more educated and confident, I want my sensitivity back and I want to proud of my skin rather than hide from it. Thus far I have been using method 2 tugging for less than a month, and "psychologically" I am making gains. I purchased to TLC tugger and strap, however I do not have enough skin to get it on, and I think it is far too small, even though the dimensions provided were accurate (used a caliper). I am able to use the film bottle method, but only get a about a little skin over the edge. I want this bad, and I am used to discomfort in this area, and I willing to go through it. If you guys have any suggestions or tips for someone who has done restoration after a reasonable fresh circumcision, I would appreciate it. Thank you

I am sorry for the poor experience you've endured.
My suggestion to you is treat this as a life style. Build restoring into your day.
Personally I did much of my restoring while sleeping. If you go this route you need to try whatever device you choose while erect. I used the TLC and T-strap method with my penis already pointed to my fact for night time erections. If I woke up I released the device and started when again when I was up for the day.
I started with literally no foreskin. (I was circumcised at birth.) T-strap worked well. Do a search online. It uses 2 inch micropore tape.View My Progress Gallery @ https://foreskinrestoration.vbulleti...ooded-progress

Oh shit man, I feel for you. I was cut at age 32 myself, not for any problem but because my GF coerced me into it. Needless to say, she is out of my life now. As to how to start, how much skin do you have left? If you go to www.restoringforeskin.org there is a wealth of info there. Pay particular attention to the CI CHART. It is a chart of foreskin coverage. How much inner skin did he leave you with? What's your CI# ? Any frenulum left? Even cut? How pronounced is your scar?

Ill try to answer your questions as good as I can
1)My CI# is likely a 1 or 2.
2) There is not that much inner skin left. The picture below was taken from the website you sent me, which pretty accurately represents my inner skin when erect
3)The frenulum was left intact
4)The scar is very pronounced and has bumps all around it, its reasonable but not the greatest work
I just recently started using the canister and strap method. I am only able to get less than a half inch of skin taped on to the canister, however it seems to stay taped on. I feel as if my scar has slightly flattened out in the brif time I have been manually tugging using method 2. Are gains harder or easier t achieve with a fresh operation?

Good luck on your journey my friend. This is a good example of how the medical community needs better training on how to deal with issues like Phimosis. Since I've started restoring I've really started to respect my body more and I've also became very against the removal of parts of your body unless surgery is the only means to treat the problem. You're very lucky to have the frenulum left intact. If I know one thing in life, The fastest way to success is through consistency. Thinking of stopping / need some motivation? PM me.

I think it's a good practice, and a source of motivation. On this forum there is the Progress Galleries section. You can start your own gallery (read the sticky about posting guidelines).
You may track your progress e.g. monthly (time spent, methods used, current progress, notes...).
You can keep track of your progress with pictures and the various existing indicators:- Coverage Index (CI-#)
- Real Coverage Index (RCI-#)
- Forced erect Coverage (FEC %)
From Madrid, Spain. Restoring with T-Tape, Manual, TLC & TLC-X since Jan 2014. Started as a CI-2, currently between CI-4 and CI-5 depending on the day.

As far as measuring your progress goes, it's a bit deceptive, so never hang your hopes on it, but measuring from time to time is your choice, if you want to; it's certainly not mandatory, and it can be disappointing when you realize that what you thought was real progress was just temporary stretch. For me, and for some of the other guys who have finished, results are really only obvious in hindsight; you won't see real progress milestones until you've passed them by, but that's only obvious to guys who're down the road in this process. So.....don't feel bad if you think you aren't getting anywhere, just go on tugging; results will happen eventually but it always takes much longer than new "restorers" realize, and much longer than guys who are only a couple of years into realize.
And your photo does not look "intact" at all, but the mucosa that has been left does look more delicate than the usual condition for long-circ'd guys, so please be careful.
