    Hey everyone!

I've only just returned to restoring after many years of taking a break. I used to tug/pack with the TLC-Tugger in high school but I think I went a little overboard and my skin became very irritated. I started at a CI-1 and am now a CI-2.

Now that I'm back I want to take things a little slower. I have the TLC-X Which I wear for 3-4 hours a day 5+ days a week, with the rod pressed in just enough to give minor discomfort after those hours have passed. I also have begun doing manual tugging (method 2) for 30 minutes every night. During the day I wear the yourskin cone, and at night apply coconut oil to keep the skin from being irritated (I don't wear the cone while I sleep).

I'm curious if this will be enough for skin growth. I definitely feel something after a manual tugging session, so I'm thinking it's okay? I certainly don't mind if my progress is slow, but I do want some progress to happen.

Also, I've been wearing boxer briefs, and find that when wearing the TLC-X, the pusher rod protrudes a bit and I'm concerned about tearing a hole. I like wearing boxer briefs, so I'd prefer not to change to boxers or cut my underwear just yet. Has anyone used anything to cover up the end of the rod? Also, the rod doesn't always stay put in that little U shape of body of the TLC-X, has anyone used anything to keep it centered?

Thanks everybody for any suggestions you might have!
    It's great to be back!

Welcome back! Your regimen sounds reasonable, but the only way to know for sure, since words are ambiguous and there are too many uncontrolled variables, is to observe your progress over time.

You could sand or file the pusher rod if it has any rough or sharp edges. You could cover it with something, a small sock for example, or wrap it with tape.

    Regards

I would consider spacing it out. Wearing the tugger earlier in the day with the manual tugging in the evening.

Take some digital photos of your penis. Then Take a new set in 6 weeks at the same angle. Compare them side to side. It may be your scrotum growing larger and not foreskin initially. I think you will see some change. Slow and steady wins this race.

Awesome! Thanks guys, I'll keep going with my regimen and see how things go. If my scrotum grows, that would probably mean my hairline would move further back on the shaft of the penis right? As it is now, its pretty far up on the shaft, so I'll welcome that.

          Welcome!
Last month I found some boxer-briefs that have a buttoned front opening that is ideal for the purpose:

My experience is similar to yours. I had a few bi-directional devices as well as the original TLC tugger and every time I would try to get in a routine I would only last for a little while before getting a skin tear on the bottom of my penis (dorsal? no, ventral side i think) where there was some funky scar tissue. For some reason I was convinced that I needed to pull pretty hard to get any growth and this impatience really prevented me from discovering how little tension is actually required to stimulate growth.

I'm getting results using the TLC-X without depressing the rod AT ALL and just using the tension created by having the cone pull the skin over the tugger parts....Now, I'm only 2 weeks into this routine but I know what skin growth looks like from my previous efforts and I'm getting it WITHOUT skin tears. I'm able to wear it 8+ hours a day. Every once in a while it pulls on that weird scar tissue spot and I have to adjust the position but I'm guessing that if you dialed back the tension you'd be able to go more than 4 hours a day....

Obviously, a non-restored person here so take with a grain of salt...just my experience. :-)

Yeah I've been at it for about 2 weeks now and my skin just wants to roll forward for the most part. I'm noticing a little more elasticity to the skin as well. No irritation yet!

The big reason for my only wearing the TLC-X for 4 hour intervals is because I tend to wear slim pants and boxer briefs, so when I'm out and about, it just gets rubbed around and I think theres a noticeable bulge. So I tend to wear it on my off times at home, and since I'm not wearing it for longer I might as well put some decent tension on there. I'm not using any straps or anything when I wear it, just using it for the inner tension.
